Parry and Graham will not get the 10 am slot permanently. Parry has already been there with Townsend remember? That ship has sailed. They will want someone to carry on building on Murray's audience. I'd think that Simon Kelner and another rotating panel of sidekicks will be put in to bat.
I think the options are between retaining Murray's format and promoting one of his friends to the lead anchor gig - I think Martin Kelner (Simon's his brother!) and Des Kelly are the most likely in that circumstance - moving the Two Mikes from overnights or bringing someone completely new in. I reckon talkSPORT will go with the first option, especially as we've still got five weeks of Colin & Friends to go, and his panellists boast some big names they'd presumably want to retain such as Danny Murphy and Didi Hamann. I don't think it's the end of the Two Mikes in the daytime hours though - I could see them becoming semi-regular stand-ins whenever Hawksbee & Jacobs and whoever replaces Colin go on holiday for a week, as well as hosting their own summer weekend afternoon shows outside of the football season. Ideally I wouldn't mind hearing them host the Weekend Sports Breakfast - I reckon their shtick, while not best suited to regular weekday daytimes, would fit well into the more relaxed weekend breakfast output. |

Good to hear Rupert Bell and Bob Bubka presenting an Open Review show in the Sunday 8-10pm slot, normally the preserve of Full Contact, last night. I must admit I didn't listen to it all live, but I have downloaded it to listen to later. I always like the rapport between Rupert and Bob and it's good to hear them at length in the wake of a golf major.
With the club rugby union season not getting underway until September and thus presumably no call for Full Contact to be in the Sunday 8-10pm slot until then, I wonder if they might put an Olympic Games-based show in this timeslot now that it is open for a magazine show post-Euro 2016. I could see them doing this as they did during the London 2012 Games, when Andrew McKenna hosted an Olympic review show in said timeslot. It would make sense to do this before the start of the rugby union season rather than just another generic football show. |

Adrian Durham is getting right up my goat.
Hello is this Drive, are Leicester going Down. This is a bit early to be discussing this, it is like they hate Leicester winning the Premier League, and want them to sound shit. If Rupert Murdoch, has any sense, he will sack Durham, and as for his little fat controller sat next to him, who I must admit I didn't really see as a good cricketer, and all I remember him was for having Chicken Blood put in his knee. |

I don't want to go over the same ground again but thicky Chins predicated they'd lose every single week. I guess even a broken clocks tells the time correctly twice a day. Arsenal ended up second so where did Chelskie, Spurs, Liverpool 'Siteeh' and ManU finish Dung beetle? |

. If Leicester finish say top 6 or top 8 and can get out of the CL group that would be a good run for them. They are a far better team than the pr1cks at TS give them credit for.

I tend to agree with this. Neither Townsend & Parry or Parry & Graham were massively successful in the 10am-1pm timeslot, although back then they were handicapped by a mess of a format that was semi-sport, semi-other items. But the fact remains that Keys & Gray and then Colin Murray & Friends have substantially increased the audience since then.

You could lose a show from the daytime schedule completely though, and do something like: 6-10 Alan Brazil 10-2 Adrian Durham 2-6 Hawksbee & Jacobs 6-10 Kick Off with Mark Saggers |

Bunch is alright on boxing but shite on anything else and he also sounds like someone has graced his undercarriage wth a pair of tweezers. At least we seem to be rid of Cork and Tindall.

Talk of Leicester going down already after losing one player...(albeit a very key one...)
Give them a chance to defend their title! |

Alan Brazil sounds like he's got someone else's teeth in this morning, I reckon the actual owner of the teeth is a gorilla
![]() Otherwise, poor old Adrian Clarke, if he said today was Tuesday then Brazil (aided and abetted by Cork) would say it was Wednesday. It's not necessary, it's not clever and it's certainly not entertaining. More importantly such behaviour, from allegedly "grown" men validates and encourages any would-be bully out there to think it's perfectly acceptable and "clever" to treat and speak to others in this way

Ray Wilkins who skipped his court appearance on Monday for drink-driving has twice been banned and fined for the same offence before and something has to be done before he kills someone on the roads a lengthy jail term is the only answer. I have absolutely no time for these idiots.

Exactly.
Totally unacceptable excuse for not attending court. He was so drunk he was weaving around on the road according to a witness. He could have killed someone. If he wants to go to rehab fine but he has to attend court for his actions. He should be further punished for non attendance imo. |

Parry and Graham in the mid morn spot is the worst piece of scheduling since Gaunt had that job.
Parry shouting out from the start ( usually it is elderly people who are going deaf themselves that shout as Parry does) and Graham tries to match him so they seem like a pair of pensioners arguing in a corner of a pub that everyone else avoids. Parry is tipping ManU to do great in the league and Chelsea to do badly and is so far into Jose that he is there with Alan Brazil and most of the Talksport staff. Back to R5 (apart from politics) and LBC. BFN. |

The Two Miles are the best show on Talksport and looking at their podcasts which are the most popular on the station and their live sold out shows then i am not alone in that thinking

Regarding the stage act they've obviously tried to set themselves up as a modern day Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson type comedy act, I'd have paid 60 quid to have seen Rik & Ade in their heyday I wouldn't pay oily bent washers to watch Porky and Graham on a stage.

The big problem with claiming someone is the best on talkSPORT is it means absolutely nothing as the rest there are all wretched.

If Porky is now saying only 50% of his heart is working that's an improvement, he used to claim that only one third of it worked ie 33%. The thing is that Mike Graham constantly accuses him of being a liar regarding this as Porky drinks, smokes and looks as if he is well overweight, so he doesn't seem worried about his ticker.

The two mikes are the best thing on Talksport right now and there podcast ranking suggests that many feel the same way. I'm a massive fan and love the show.
HOWEVER: Not feel them on mid morning. Never have. Their natural place is the overnight gig where they are given more free reign and discuss the goings on of the day from sport to politics. There is something of the night about the two mikes and they are wasted in the rigid nature of the day time slots. |
