Billy just a question. In future to listen to your clips do we have to download the Dropbox app, & sign in every time?.

I understand that Cork left under his own steam for a better deal with Sky etc.

I wish that the Mike Parry Show would be on at 10am to 1pm weekdays. Mike's zany antics would give us a laugh instead of the same old turgid drone from ill prepared "football experts" talking about the Big Three of Manchester Utd, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Fabulous tale.

Thanks Billy, the clip played just fine. Do you know if people pay to watch the acts at the Edinburgh Festival? It's a genuine question, I have no idea and sometimes people will do free gigs for the publicity they may attract. The clip of the two Mikes I found just dreadful, they would have to have paid me to attend ...

By the way, who is Venners? I fear you have been over-dosing on TMS lately ..

Otherwise had to have a little wry smile to myself earlier. Don't know if it was mentioned on TS but apparently the Serie A side Roma had shown an interest in signing Jack Wilshere on a loan deal for the remainder of the season. Arsene Wenger apparently refused to do business with them because of the way they handled a potential move for their defender Kostas Manolas earlier this summer. He's a pain on occasions but sometimes I do have to admit a grudging admiration for Arsene, he just won't toe the line and I for one thoroughly agree with the philosophy that revenge is a dish best eaten cold

No do not download anything at all people can listen to Dropbox clips [audio or video or look at pictures] even if they've not got Dropbox on their computer that's what's so good about it.

I'm not sure if they have to pay at the Edinburgh Festival but if forced to guess I would say no as Matt Forde would be appearing to a completely empty chairs every year surely.

What's his back-up in sport apart from reading sports news on TV and most importantly of all is he qualified enough to work for the earth's biggest and best sports radio station?.

I'm concerned about his credentials, has he had sufficient driving bans for drink-driving?, has he in the past been collared for animal cruelty and has he got previous pulling his plonker on late-night car-parks while ogling courting couples in cars with a torch?, I hope he's been checked out thoroughly we wouldn't want someone with no baggage being set on.

Excellent credentials for the station then David banned from an aircraft through being drunk as a rat-ar$ed rodent in my book well qualifies him to work there.

Maybe in time he might add a couple of driving bans to make him feel even more at home, just hope he doesn't go into keeping and training horses.

Unfortunately, it did play on my device. 37 seconds was quite enough.

In answer to the Edinburgh queries, there are some free shows and some that you have to pay for. As far as I understand it, if you can meet the requirements of the organisers then anyone can put on a show at the Fringe (I'm not sure what those requirements are as I'm not the sort of person who would want to put on a show). Of course, if no b*gger knows who you are then your chances of getting people to pay are slim. I would be surprised if the Two Mikes were doing it for free, though.

Have the 2 Mike's shortened their overnight show now? I've noticed since they've been back Mike Graham is no longer on for the last hour and as I've been up early last few days it's been Danny bloody Kelly's My Sporting Life being repeated.

The two mikes shows were 20 pounds a head. Over 3 nights.
Was there on the Saturday night.

This week's Porky Quiz.
Edinburgh.

The 2 Mikes had nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow in the studio yesterday and I quite enjoyed the interview. He talks about his clubs, women, gangsters gunning in his windows, politics and Brexit.

The overnight shows are just repeats of afternoon/evening shows on TalkSPORT/TalkRADIO which are 3 hours long. You didn't expect for MG to come in and present the final 2 hours. A few weeks it was Bob Ballard who sat in for the 2 hours but he had to go to Rio and, l think, that's when the repeats of MSL kicked in.

5-6 is still live with Russ Hargreaves presenting it this week, wish they would just have a live show on all through the night, instead of repeats.

That's some weird scheduling. Edit a 2 hour programme to a hour just for someone to come in and talk to Sandy Warr and Paul Ross for a few seconds!

TalkSPORT is such a bonkers station!

Stringfellow has been spouting the same yarns and pro-Tory muck on every programme and on every station for decades. He's a perfect fit for the 2 Mikes, though. He ticks all the required boxes. I think a lot of people are tired of them now. The mock-arguments are like a radio version of WWE.

It was not intended as a national slur Sleeper, just an observation on the similarity between 0600 - 1000 and 1000 - 1300.

How has Colin's final show been, a bit emotional I bet.

Im probably the odd one out, but I dont mind Jim White, be interesting to see how Monday goes.

When newscorp does take over, Im guessing hey will all have to sing to the same views.
