Iain Lee did a great spoof interview the other night over on talkRADIO, I know it's not football related but it's well worth a listen if you like something funny and could do with a rest from the premier league. It's on video as well which makes it even better, Iain Lee shows great ability and mettle not to burst out laughing at various points throughout the interview he's what I call a pro.
His special guest was a guy called David Franks and he was from the society for spontaneous human combustion, the callers joining in are also funny.

I see Colin Murray's presenting Fighting Talk on 5Live today - Glad to see he wasn't out of work for too long. I'll be tuning in, in 25 mins or so 
Did anyone see Matt Ford on his new TV show? Thought some bits were a bit hit-and-miss but on the whole I enjoyed it and reckon it can develop. Not a patch on HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" though but it's early days.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Murray can be an annoying git at times, but he really drives this show along well.

I thought he told him to "f*** off" when they bleeped it out on Clips of the Week but having listened to the Two Mikes podcast it was "bugger off".
Apologies if this has come up before but my query is - listening to TS on TuneIn Radio recently has been very weird. And not just the hosts. The one time I sometimes listen, is late at night, maybe around the 11.30pm area onwards until I fall asleep! I quite enjoy a bit of the Sports Bar and if it's not a work night, I drift in and out of the overnight shows. [ Well, I don't really like the two Mike's and I wont listen to the 'Boy Latch' if he's on at the weekend! ].
However, on TuneIn, I have been getting really long jingle breaks, when they go to adverts. They play maybe 5 or 6 station jingles, usually the same ones over and over, I rarely hear a proper advert and then when it goes back to the actual show, it is obviously late back as the conversation is already going again.
Is there some kind of legal reason why their adverts can't be played on TuneIn or something?? It drives me so mad that I haven't listened for a while. Not sure if their own TS app is any different but that has no sleep timer on it, so I don't use that either.
It wouldn't be so bad if their jingles were actually any good but they've always had annoying ones made up and that voice over man with the REALLY deep voice also drives me potty.
Overall, it's just not a very good station. I enjoy little bits and bobs but couldn't listen to it for very long these days. Clips of the Week always makes me laugh though. All 3 of them have always been amongst the roster of guests on Fighting Talk anyway. As for Colin Murray I doubt he will earn the same amount for a show that's only on once a week and given his reasons for quitting TS he's obviously not motivated purely by money

Whenever I listen to talkSPORT and it's getting rarer and rarer that I do I don't listen via TuneIn so I'm afraid I can't help but I know there are people on here who can help and when they come online I'm sure they will ok.
I'm with you 100% on this station incorporating more than premier league into their schedules but they never will and it's pointless ever hoping they will in the future. What's needed is a dedicated station for the hundreds of thousands of Football League followers in this country and stuff talkSPORT.

You're right. Colin left TS on principle and good for him. I was surprised that all the old gang from his 10-1 show on TS were all together. It was 1st time for a while I've listened to R5 at that time.

I wish they'd give Nigel Botherway a daily slot he's a bigger laugh than even Brazil, Quinn and Parry and he doesn't even know it!. Caught him this morning on the fishing show and the guy is classic radio in true pure Alan Partridge fashion.
