Looks like Joseph Barton is finished at Sevco.
Perect excuse to get rid of this idiot for breaking the betting rules.
Both sets of Glasgow fans break the law every week with their songs - would you be as harsh on the guy next to you?

Or is that just ;banter'?

Give it a rest JT.
Don't like your latest reincarnation on here so much.

I noticed that the Two Mikes only runs until 4am and My Sporting Life for an hour until 5am (as been doing for a few weeks now). This morning, I heard from 5am until 6am The Early Breakfast show with Russ Hargreaves. No Mention of talkRADIO at all either.

Sadly for talkRADIO it gets no advertising whatsoever apart from internal advertising by the station itself, how is a new radio station expected to survive with no publicity, no publicly means no listeners no wonder they're struggling.

I think it's a great little station full of varied stuff for everyone who likes current affairs, they should have lashed out some money on TV advertising and newspaper advert pages announcing themselves to the whole of the UK many many people still don't know it even exists.

When Ruppie arrives it could go to the wall the way it is currently.

Ray Parlour has just said he would rather see England win the World Cup than Arsenal win the Premium League!! Big Al has called him out on this and I'm with Alan. If I happen to be at home when an England game is on I may watch but possibly not, England games are a side-show as far as I'm concerned. Sad, but true
I disagree Ven, I'd much sooner see England win the World Cup it's far more important to me.

But then again, supporting Forest I know what it's like to have won the biggest club competition in Europe ..... twice! Admittedly a long time ago, but I still savor it, so we've kind of won it all anyway.

Guess as an Arsenal fan it's simply just a dream??? 😈😈😈😉

God I wish they would get rid of the bloke who does their football commentary. I've heard that "Gareth Bale!" screeching so many times now it's painful to the ears

It was only the other night I got out the removable memory drive with the best football movie ever made on it, that being of course 'The Dammed United' featuring the brilliant Michael Sheen as the irrepressible Brian Clough. [Matt Forde should study it very closely it might learn him what a good impression is and Sheen is only an actor]
I love this film it doesn't of course include your club Ned Nottingham Forest I wish it had, the story of winning the second division championship, the old first division championship, two European cups back to back, four league cups, the European super cup, a charity shield, going a record breaking 42 league games unbeaten and Cloughie winning the manager of the year should have been told but it's still a great great film and Sheen is so good playing Old Big 'Ead you almost think it's him at times.

Pity he wasn't good enough to manage England!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Whoever commissioned those Jim White promotional trailers needs a good clip round the ear. They are dire.

I notice that Quinn is a little more restrained when he is on Breakfast or Drive. He clearly had no respect for Georgie.

Ray Parlour epitomises the useless ex-player turned pundit. Illiterate, incapable of analysis, insight or anything else. Danny Gabbidon is another recent example. Are there no ex players who can walk and chew gum at the same time?

I like Danny Kelly but I'm starting to understand those who aren't fans. He really does talk too much.

Bob Bradley? I'm falling about laughing. If he lasts to the end of the season then the Swans will be relegated. From Le Havre to the premier league? A disaster waiting to unfold. While I've tired quite a bit of the state of football at the top level - the England side included - I do enjoy the drama and shear amount of nonsense that goes with the circus.

Rooney was praising Sam a couple of weeks back and now he's gone he's blaming Allardyce for hanging him out to dry.

Kelly and Quinn are bemoaning the fact that Swansea didn't consult the fans (who own about 20% of the club before appointing Bradley. What planet are they on? I own more than 20% of my house but that doesn't cut much ice with the bank that owns the rest. When are people going to realise just how much of a business football has become at all levels? There are billions of ponds at stake and everyone wants a taste. I always shake my head when I read about fans saying they want their owners out. Er, how are you going to make that happen exactly? Another favourite? "Why doesn't our owner go and spend a few quid?" The same reasons I don't go and treat myself to a Tesla.

I would like to see England win the World Cup because I've never seen anyone turn water into wine, feed 5,000 people with a loaf of bread, fit thousands of animals into a boat, walk on water, or part the Red Sea, and I'd like to witness a genuine miracle before I die.

We are so far from winning a world cup I am struggling to find anything as unlikely to compare it to.

Be crushed by a meteorite?.

Talksport to suddenly back and support Arsene Wenger?.

Sleeper changing allegiances to Rangers?.

Brazil to stop drinking, gambling and accepting freebies?.

Ray Parlour to start pronouncing his R's?.

Jeremy Corbyn to announce a sensible shadow government policy?.

I'd take any one of that lot over England winning the big one for a generation.

England are a million miles away from winning a major tournament in terms of technical quality, mentality, training and coaching, development of young players, prevailing culture, intelligence, maturity...I could go on.

I the Neil Warnock has the most patronising voice and radio presence, wonder if it's the same in the dressing room? Hardly inspirational if it is, SAF could teach him a thing or two

Big Al was plugging a restaurant I hadn't heard him mention before yesterday.
Some Portuguese place called Candlesticks, Steve Evans got in on the act too.
They are shameless with the free plugs on tS.

That restaurant is in Stamford in Lincolnshire, never been to the restaurant but Stamford is a great place for a visit, lovely little town. Sorry off topic but at least I big things up for free unlike Big Al, and I mean it ..

The theme from The Godfather is playing in the background presently, lovely music, very evocative of certain parts of Italy 🇮🇹

Did someone tell Vinnie Jones he's funny, he certainly needs to be disabused about that !

It's a fabulous restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Stamford is indeed a lovely place to visit with many interesting places and facts about it, not the least being that it is where I went to school.

Driving down from Burghley House into the town, it is difficult to imagine that it was the original A1 many years ago.

Even all these years later the famous photo of Vinnie crunching Gazza's crown jewels during that Wimbledon v Newcastle match is still burnt onto my brain Ven.

I was listening Sportsday on TS2 today, which is generally a decent show, although a bit football-heavy for my liking. But not bad.

Today, though, there was an item in which they asked someone into the studio 'from Sky Sports' and he simply told us what was on Sky today.

Some people might interpret this as blatant advertising that serves no reasonable purpose, as anyone could easily find out this information, and it is indeed completely useless information if you don't have Sky. But not me.

Wonder what Brazil was doing out that way.

They're dissing the Roon this morning on talkPREM i didn't see the game myself I was watching the darts it's more exciting but it seems we won last night against the might of Malta 2-0 and the Wembley fans were booing Rooney during the game for playing under-par again.
TalkPREM presenters are asking why he's still playing for England, that's easy to answer he wants 126 international caps to beat the record and the suits with the big blazers will keep ordering down the line that he keeps getting them until he breaks the record and only then will he finally retire unless we get a team manager with the b@lls to stand up to him and the emblazoned badged suits and say "NO NO NO he's finished I want to build a new team to look to the future."
