After the typical Mourinho borefest last night we have more mind numbing from Rushden + Quinn this morning. Max seems to want to talk about "racism in football" brought up by Dwight Yorke than football itself.

Has Dwight got his coaching badges? has he any experience ? He should remember that even mourinho started off as Bobby Robson's interpreter.

Back to the game, if that had happened under Van Gaal then TS would be all over slagging him off but of course Josay is sacrosanct and cannot be criticised at TS.
He's spent approx £200 million at the start of season and so far is in a worse. position than ManUtd were last year.

Yesterday Jim White said its the game that the nation stood still for, what a clown.

I caught the part of the show Yorke was on and I thought for one minute I was listening to 5 live, as its the favourite subject of that station. To be fair to Quinn (difficult) he was talking sense about applying for jobs being qualified etc. Rushden was boring the backside of me with yet another "opinion about racism in football"

Just learnt that Max Rushden let it slip his morning that Brazil was off today through drink, I'm going to stick up for Brazil here because if there's one thing I do not like it's creeps and sneaks and dropping BigAl in it like this is not the way to play the game.
Not that it will matter really though because they'll just make another drink-related Alan promo and probably air it next week.

Can't wait 'til he's gone - one way or another - then I can finally switch on the radio before 10am.

Sympathise profusely with your issue but let's face it AB is there until the day he drops and EVEN then he'll probably be there stuffed by a taxidermist and mounted in the talkSPORT foyer in a glass cabinet on public display with piped sounds of Rod Stewart's Maggie May playing away softly in the background in appreciation for what the talkSPORT management consider he's done for their company.

Whilst we're on the subject of Brazil (not that we're ever really off it) is it me or can he not say his own name? I'm sure he says "The Alan Ba-zil Sports Breakfast" each time...

He is not everyones cup of tea, but the return of Moyles for the past year has been a godsend to me.

I watched the game last night, and no matter how much Sky build it up and people talk about how it was reasonable for United to go there and seek a point at all costs...football is entertainment. It was a dreadful game, it was always likely to be a dreadful game, and you can't pull the wool over people's eyes by hyping it out of all proportion.

Mourinho's teams play dreadful football. It's a good job that they sometimes win trophies because they provide no entertainment whatsoever.

And this isn't sour grapes, as he sometimes likes to pretend. Ferguson was absolutely reviled, and his Man United teams were hated. But I heard them called arrogant, lucky, cheats, bullies, and many other things. But no-one ever called them boring.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, Jose, it's probably a duck.

you seem the one most agitated here.

We know what Mourinho is, dull, we also know this is what Van Gaal was slated for, yet not Jose on Talksport anyway.

Supporting Liverpool would be a big step up for me!

Don't support United, but I've been to Old Trafford about 30-40 times, lived right in the centre of Manchester, so I believe that qualifies me to comment on them.

This United team is dire to watch and bereft of creativity, guile, craft, technique and ultimately entertainment. They're not even effective and it is literally the most expensive squad ever assembled by any football club.

Last 7 games: very lucky to beat Hull 1-0, lost 2-1 to City, lost 1-0 to Feyenoord, lost 3-1 to Watford (don't count the Mickey Mouse Cup against Northampton), had a good win against Leicester 4-1 with 3 goals from set-pieces, scraped past Zorya Luhansk 1-0, drew 1-1 with Stoke, drew 0-0 with Liverpool.

Sorry, not very good.

I'm a Spurs fan now, well that's interesting.

I must have been secretly supporting them whilst trailing to the "Real St James Park" for 40 years. If they hadn't fouled Ian Pearson in the 1981 Cup quarter-final we may have beaten them, and there'd have been no ****ing Ozzie and his knees going all trembly.

oddly we beat Chelsea in the checkatrade thingy tonight, can't say I was overtly thrilled.

No BigAl again, of course the problem now with Brazil is he could have the worst health issue in the world and people wouldn't believe it and still think he's off swinging the lead.

I noticed that result as I checked all the results before going to bed I think it's great that your boys beat Chelsea last night, they might not have been the first Chelsea eleven but they will have been a very talented crop of under 21's.

To say Man Utd have spent all that money and have the greatest manager in the world ( Talksport speak) I'm surprised that the TS pundits are sayingJose needs more time and that maybe next season they'll be challengers. Cundy said he knows that Jose doesn't want to entertain but wants only results and that football is NOT for entertainment whereas Arry Redknapp was on yesterday and said football IS an entertainment industry.
Wonder who's right.
As a person who doesn't support any Prem club I just like to see a good game but I can understand dedicated fans just wanting a win.
I remember many years ago in the George Graham days, Arsenal used to win a lot of dull games 1-0 and the chant used to go up "Boring boring Arsenal".

Speaking of boredom, Max Rushden is on again, sorry bit it's a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I danced round the road outside our house after the 6th round draw In 1981

Middlesboro v Wolves
Forest v Ipswich
Everton v City
Tottenham v Exeter

would have done the same in 2009 (different road but Tom Watson failed to par the 72nd hole in the open)

Turned on Drive on the way home and had Cricket talk (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) and then more Mourinho bashing. Wasn't there Champions League footy on last night? Hell, they could have talked about tonights Man City/Barcelona for 3 hours and that would have been more interesting than clinging on to the bore-draw from 2 days ago.

Don't think Moose is in any danger of winning any Oscar nominations after seeing his latest showing pretending to pick a fight with WBC Cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew in a talkSPORT corridor.

So that makes Manchester City's record against Barcelona since they first played them in 2014:

Played 5, Won 0, Drawn 0, Lost 5, Goals For 2, Goals Against 11

Plus Barcelona have missed two penalties in those games.

Sounds like Man City were undone by their own errors more than anything else..

Of course they have a good team and an excellent manager but wonder if they are going to be caught out a lot trying to implement a new style so quickly..
