So Arsenal and Man City both draw in disappointing performances (according to the pundits..) to finish 2nd in their group and potentially get a tough draw (although they will avoid Bayern and potentially Real Madrid!)

TS will probably debate Arsenal more so (as will 5live) simply because you tend to get a lot of Gunners fans calling in compared to Man City ones (not even sure I've heard one tbh!)

The podcasts don't contain show trailers, if that's what you mean. Just the content of the programme itself.

I don't listen to many of the edited talkSPORT show airings on talkSPORT 2 or their live daytime programmes that often, but when I've caught bits of the overnight repeats of sports commentaries that have aired on 2 earlier the previous day, I've noticed they are structured like a typical talkSPORT show, with advert breaks every quarter hour.

The typical talkSPORT weekday daytime programme has shorter breaks either side of the news at the top and bottom of the hour, plus longer ones around 15 and 45 minutes past the hour; however when it comes to Matchday Live on a Saturday afternoon they typically have about two commercial breaks per hour between 2-5pm - then if there is a 5.30pm commentary game, they squeeze in two short breaks during the 5-5.30pm half hour and two more either side of the news at half-time, but naturally the commentary itself is uninterrupted. The same sort of rules apply to their other programmes containing live sports commentaries or busy Around the Grounds shows. But for all other programmes, the structure of the show as it pertains to the frequency and placement of the commercials is pretty much standard to the pattern I've described above. The key difference when it comes to talkSPORT 2 is that they do not take any news bulletins, so they will just take four internal breaks at the quarter of every hour, but these breaks seem much shorter than those on talkSPORT given that they are not squashed in around news, travel etc.

Another terrible year for Arsenal in the Euro Champs. Only 11 pts so far from 5 games, unbeaten, and certain qual for KO rounds but a terrible show.Send for Stewpot Robson,Durham,Cundy,Goldsteen and Brazil.
Oh, wait a minute poor Alan has a dodgy chest possibly brought on with endless bouts at the lager/wine trough.

Whereas plucky Spurs were out of the Champs but not that bad.
ManU battling away in the Europa Cup,brulliant, Mourinho needs another 3 yrs he moans after spending 200 Million Quid on top of the most expensive squad in the country. Still the best manager in the world.
Liverpool and Chelsea not even in any Euro comp.but both doing great.

I'm sick of that Arsenal getting in the top 4 for the last 20 yrs on the trot 3 league wins and 6 FA Cup wins, and I'd rather be a Spurs fan ( 2 top 4 places in the last 20 yrs and not won the league since 1961, 55 yrs ago)

I think I need a long break from Talksport and so as Jimmy Young used to say TTFN.

Flicked over to Talksport for a few seconds and first thing I heard was Rubert Bell bragging about his "lovely lunch laid on for him by Ladbrokes".

Switches off.

And to think some people all those years back used to knock Jimmy Young as a broadcaster, these muppets at talkSPORT couldn't lace his microphone. [please just for a moment imagine microphones have laces]
He passed away this month at the age of 95 he was a master on radio it was a long time ago but I remember him well a great radio man.

It's the Brazil factor every time, everyone associated with Alan Brazil and his ram-rotten boring show thinks it's hilariously funny to brag on live radio about freebies, corporate boxes and top eating and drinking establishments they are nearly as out of touch as Jeremy bleedin' Corbyn.

Oops a tiny touch of politics squeezing out there ignore it.

I can't believe I'm asking this but how the ###k do you get to the Listen Again feature on the talkSPORT2 website I'm trying to get to their new Formula 1 show?.

I've looked 3 times and have given up trying.

You can't listen to TS2 programmes again on the TS website for some reason. I don't know if it is on iTunes or something like that, but they don't upload them to their own website.

What an odd bit of politics too, as I'm pretty sure it's the other side that does the schmoozing, lovely to see Farage being celebrated by his billionaire mates at a party for Brexit. We all know what side Brazil is on too.

Smashing the system indeed, champagne and caviar all round, courtesy of dirty Desmond. As austerity hits even harder for the poor, and the rich get tax relief, brave new world.

Thanks, at last some clearly defined information on the matter, I thought there must be a good reason why I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Now now stop being bitter the people voted and a majority decision was taken no matter how you hate it you will be living with it for the rest of your days.
Mr Farage [soon to be Lord Farage of course in reward of his brilliant political career] instigated and saw through the biggest single political eruption in modern times and fully deserved his night of honour this week.
One last thing I bet you listen to James O'Brien don't you.

Again, I go back to your previous comments, why are you slating shmoozing capitalists and then slagging off Corbyn for some reason. when Brazil is very much in favour of Brexit, utterly ridiculous.

Oh I'm bitter all right, this hideous self-serving tosspot has sent us down a dark tunnel, almost entirely for his and a few billionaires gains.

Oh and so much for being a "socialist" we have the most right-wing government since Thatcher cutting all services, whilst continuing to give tax breaks to the rich, what the **** has Farage gained us, the utter ****. An odious little tosspot who lectured a great man like Obama about interfering with an Election that had nothing to do with him, before doing the self-same thing for the equally odious rich boy Trump. So now we have both countries run by the most conservative old-fashioned parties in both countries, what a revolution.

No I don't listen to James O'Brien, if I did I would talk politics in his thread, not here with your sickening out-of-context love for an imbecilic fascist rich-kid. You've been conned so hard which I presume you actually know hence why you drag this into a thread not talking about it at all.

Again, Brazil in favour of Brexit, so why slag off Corbyn when talking about his lifestyle and not someone enjoying just that lifestyle.

Don't worry.

Great comeback, can see how you've fallen for Farage's offal.

Fully admit to this all hitting a nerve, the surge towards Fascism likely to do that for me.

You brought the politics up, as I say in an utterly wrong-headed way.

While they don't have a Listen Again service for talkSPORT 2, they do upload a 25-30 minute edit of Sportsday each day and most of their magazine shows as podcasts on talkSPORT.com.

It doesn't appear as if The Grand Prix Show has been uploaded yet, as while they are not that easy to find on the site they are easily Googleable, but when I spot it I will post a link to it on here.
