Why?
I don't know how anyone can find Parry entertaining. they are very popular. just because you dont like him doesnt mean others do not. Would be a very boring world if we all liked the same be a bit like Channel Five. |

Arsenal top of the Premier League [at least while Chelsea play West Brom at 12pm today] click oh my god how will they get out of this one this morning on talkPREM!!!!.
They'll find a way somehow of deflecting any praise on them. The Mouse will have been at the back of a throng of reporters after yesterday's Arsenal game with his diddy little Sony MP3 recorder trying to record what Arsene Wenger was saying and of course claiming it's a talkPREM exclusive interview lol. |

My opinion is they're a couple of utterly unfunny, one-note, blustering blow-hards that is, one playing up his thickness, everything radio shouldn't be. |

There's not gonna be any praise for Arsenal, it's all gonna be about Pep Guardiola and Jamie Vardy this morning, they will read out the Arsenal score and that probably will be that ..
![]() As an Arsenal fan does the general disrespect to Mesut Özil get you angry? it would me. It's not just Talksport really, most of the British media. This is the list of his acheivements from Wiki Club Werder Bremen[184] DFB-Pokal: 2008–09 Real Madrid[184] La Liga: 2011–12 Copa del Rey: 2010–11 Supercopa de España: 2012 Arsenal[184] FA Cup: 2013–14, 2014–15 FA Community Shield: 2015 International Germany[184][185] FIFA World Cup: 2014; Third place 2010 UEFA European Under-21 Championship: 2009 Individual Germany Player of the Year Award: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015[186] Bundesliga top assists: 2009–10[187] FIFA World Cup top assists: 2010 (shared)[188] FIFA World Cup Golden Ball Nominee: 2010[189] FIFA World Cup 2010 Man of the Match: Ghana vs Germany[190] UEFA Champions League top assists: 2010–11[191] La Liga top assists: 2011–12[192] UEFA European Championship top assists: 2012 (shared)[193] UEFA European Championship Team of the Tournament: 2012[194] UEFA Team of the Year: 2012,[195] 2013[196] Premier League top assists: 2015–16[197] Arsenal Player of the Season: 2015–16[198] UEFA Best Player in Europe Award: 10th place 2012[199] FIFA Ballon d'Or: 2010 (13th place), 2011 (11th place), 2012 (14th place), 2013 (16th place)[200] and you get the likes of clogger Cundy (there doesn't seem to be an honours bit on his wiki page, funny that) taking the piss out of him, it's surreal. Practically everybody is saying Arsenal should break the bank for Alexis Sánchez, but let Ozil go. Hey why not keep both. If Sanchez had had as good a season as Ozil last year you'd be Champions IMHO. |

If Sanchez had had as good a season as Ozil last year you'd be Champions IMHO. Goodness knows why outsiders take this stance on Ozil (trust me insiders love him and would have a personal whip round to keep him). Could be as simple as others find Sanchez easier to like? Ockam's Razor? Answering your initial question, no I don't get angry, I'm grateful he's our player, long may it continue ..

How many live games do Talksport have now - don't seem to get the same amount of adverts you used to?

If you had a mate who was thick you might take the mickey occasionally but you'd still embrace them. On the other hand if you had a mate who was always pretending to be thick and thought it was funny how long would you tolerate them before it became old and you kicked them to the kerb? |

I like the two Mikes. However I dont listen regularly. I guess they are funny as a once now and again. Not sure whether I could cope with them every day in the 1-4pm slot.
I like Hawksbee & Jacobs too. Other than that its a tad annoying in my opinion. |

But thank god for the present day choice on radio there's some terrific shows on LBC, talkRADIO and BBC Radio 5 I download a tonne of stuff each week and the only show I pick from talkPREM is the 2 Mikes which says a lot about what I think of the rest on that station. |

Was listening to the John Pienaar politics show yesterday on BBC Radio 5 when up sprung that comic genius and voice mimic extraordinaire Matt Forde alongside Jon Culshaw both doing Boris Johnson impressions. [or trying to]
Now I used to think Culshaw at least had some credibility but his impression of Boris Johnson believe it or not was even worse than Forde's impression and from that you can probably imagine how bad it was. How do these people make a living doing impressions?, it mystifies me endlessly how anyone can think they are good at it. >>>http://bit.ly/2heTpC8<<< |

The Football Association is outdated, held back by "elderly white men" and unable to counter the power of the Premier League, say five former executives of the governing body. David Bernstein, David Davies, Greg Dyke, Alex Horne and David Triesman say the FA has failed to "self-reform". The five have asked Parliament's Culture, Media and Sport committee to propose legislation to reform the FA. Committee chairman Damian Collins MP has said "time has run out" for the FA.
Well good luck on this one!!!.

Talksport on the ball again according to someone on TF speaking to someone 5,437 miles away in Los Angeles USA about the Liverpool v West Ham game even though they hadn't seen any of the game.
Classic talkPREM.

When the show finished Everton were leading 1-0, so Parry was happy. I wonder if he found a nearby pub to watch the rest of the game?. |

So well worded I could have done it meself.
But it's from TF and it made me larf out loud. ![]() Brazil turns up for work!! Whoop!! *sigh*. Join us, and listen to Ray and Alan share tales of away trips in former Eastern Bloc countries. It was like f--king 'Wish You Were Here' with Ray Parlour as Judith Chalmers. The way he described the Ukraine, it was almost like being there! 'Orriball' I think was his assessment. I thought at one point Alan was going to go on a rant about the Roma community begging on the streets of London and start pining for the return of The Final Solution. It was all vaguely anti-Eastern Europe for my taste, but no doubt Sky Corp. will be pleased. RP: "Aaaawwhhhight...Al, we ahd to make arhhr orrwn bed Al..." AB: "Bohemians. Prague. Boniek. Lodz. Wodz. Lodz. Bohemians. Bobby. Cold. Cassette. Chocolate bars. Poor kids...Lodz. Boniek." RP: "....We plaiyed cards awwwniight Al...." AB: "...Aaah Boniek. Prague. Lodz...". Comedy moment of my brief flyby listen had to be Brazil vaguely asking when the Berlin Wall fell. Now, call me harsh, but asking Ray Parlour any question that doesn't involve playing cards, betting, and drinking, will only ever end in disappointment. I doubt Way even knew Berlin had a f--king wall. ![]() ![]()
