I'd forgotten what a terrible actor Michael Higgs was.... listen to that scream at the end.

Andy Hunter was a rubbish character, right up until just before they killed him off, when he started going round the square insulting everyone.

He was up there with the Ferreiras as Louise Berridge's weaker characters. Admittedly she introduced some fantastic faces like Stacey, Jane (long before she became a cold blooded cover-upper of murder), Dennis, Kate, Chrissie, and Alfie (in his early run he was really good).

Andy was a bit of alright though

Johnny was fantastic.

No chance of that happening I'm afraid, he was killed off! Can't remember exactly what he died of but I think it was a heart attack. I remember his daughter Ruby being really upset about it when she found out. My memory of it is a bit sketchy but she was with someone at the time who didn't really want to be with her, I think he was only with her because of her rich daddy or something. I think it might have been Stacey's brother (Sean?) And Ruby was crying over her dad & he didn't really want to comfort her but because Ruby thought they were in a real relationship she started sobbing in his arms & well basically the scene ends with them about to have sex lol! Speaking of bad characters & bad actors, Ruby was one of the worst, she was so weak & so was the actress!

Yes, Johnny had a heart attack in prison. Iirc his final words were misconstrued and resulted in Jake Moon being driven off to his doom.

During 'Get Johnny Week' Ruby found footage on a mobile phone of Dennis being stabbed and killed and she called the Police who came and arrested Johnny. He was given a life sentence for the murders of Andy and Dennis but a few months in he had a heart attack and died while trying to order Jake Moon's murder.

I actually liked Johnny Allen. The scene where he trapped Peggy's fingers in the door was brilliant!

The quality of the show from then to now is alarming how the mighty have fallen.

Michael Higgs will always be Eddie Santini to me so I found it hard to be invested in the character. I find it weird that Michael married Caroline Catz who played Rosie Fox due to the fact Eddie tried to rape Rosie.

I thought that storyline in the Bill was really good and the interplay between them really effective.

One of the best storylines The Bill ever did I thought.
