Is this as bad as it gets

BB have made so many mistakes selecting / paying agents for housemates. Get back to ordinary people auditioning.

So lets see what's left

Alex Cannon - no personality whatsoever, one of the worst ever housemates, eye candy for both girls and gays but that's it.

Andy West - fairly dull, educated, likes to play the diary room, thinks he's clever, now trying to be "the new Andy" to win over housemates and stay till the end.

Evelyn Ellis - started badly, livened up a bit, easy on the eye but nothing of much interest to say, one of the few with potential to make something of herself.

Hughie Maughan - young happy go lucky lad, pretty dim, goes OTT on a regular basis in the name of entertainment, not malicious - just naïve.

Jackson Blyton - trying to be something he's not, very unoriginal, very dim, often full of sh*t, thinks he's landed a pretty rich girl, lots of potential but will come to nothing.

Jason Burrill - doesn't mix well, probably shouldn't be their, doesn't know what he wants in life, needs to grow up and stop sulking, did provide a classic BB moment.

Jayne Connery - trying to stay current, needs to mature gracefully, attractive physically but can be quite ugly (personality), will be forgotten within a month.

Laura Carter - all she's got are her looks, no personality, fame hungry, no loyalty, potential to be a nice person and will rue her life choices when it's too late.

Sam Giffen - is like paint drying, stupid haircut, 100% insecure, should never have been selected, more life in a vacuum.

Who wins - you decide !!

I would have said the zebra but he's soiled goods now after having Hughie's Willy in his mouth 😉

How did you get hold of their agents' submission notes to BB?!

I think this lot beat the last two years' lots hands down, which isn't hard to be fair.

All I could find this year was people I really didn't want to win. The nearest I've been this year is Andy and Jason but after last nights episode which for me is one of the worst in BB history I simply don't care now.

when will they learn fame-hungry wannabes with agents are actually far less interesting than 'normal' people? you'd think the opposite would be true but, time and time again, it's shown that these wannabes are just variations on the same old tired theme -- too self-aware of their image, too focussed on their prospects after the show. just dull.

alex, jason, emma and sam particularly have absolutely nothing about them. the rest look like pale imitations of previous housemates.

I think the OP is a bit harsh on Jason, Hughie, Laura and Jayne. The rest is fair comment, but really I don't expect many interesting people to go on BB any more. Its too exploitative, they mess around with the prize money, cause conflicts deliberately, set tasks which mostly revolve around vomit, allow people to flagrantly cheat by discussing noms and collect a bunch of knuckle dragging morons outside every Friday night to boo them.

Who would bother going on it?

What happened last night that had so strong an effect on your thinking?

(I haven't watched last night's yet, but it doesn't seem especially disliked in this forum, so I'm curious.)

Nothing happened except for yet another boring task involving gunge, smelly things and people pretending to vomit, Hughie rolling into the pool drunk and Jason bemoaning how he is being perceived after his choices last week (which IMO were the perfect choices). It was a very tired looking episode. The only good note was that the pretentious little muppet Ryan was absent.

What is tierd and boring is the tired, old guff about wannabe's vs so called 'normal people' whatever they are supposed to be?

At the end of the day, I either enjoy watching a group of hm's or I don't, and if i don't i stop watching and wait for the next series.
I've enjoyed watching this cast, so this series gets a thumbs up from me.

Thanks. Sounds like one to skip.

(I think your post at the top of the thread is a very good one, btw, though I don't quite agree with all of it.)

The really awful ones who had to go have gone.
There is no one left who really deserves to win, that is an all rounder without serious character flaws, liked by all, trustworthy and doesn't behave like an idiot for air time, but has a strong personality.
Who wins, you decide.
Could be anyone.

You've actually gone a little too easy on that one.
