just realised...I didn't know Portugal won the Euros and I don't know what Kanye Taylor gate is (and incidentally Pokemon Go wouldn't work for me ) so they're not too far behind some of us.

I think what that's about is that he wrote a song dissing Taylor Swift and there is now a ongoing row as to whether she gave him permisson to (or something like that)

My birthday.

Kanye wrote a track basically saying swift wanted to have sex with him and called her an unsavoury name.
Swift said it was nasty and she should have been asked permission blah blah blah.....

Kim Kardashian then released a video of Kanye phoning swift before the track was released/written and asking her permission.....which she granted and actually said was an honour to be written about in a track by him. She called him her friend etc etc.

Swift then released a statement saying that by calling her a bitch or whatever it was that it's defamation of her character.
