I don't always think one is the "better person" for accepting an apology.
All manner of horrific things have been said and done and one is expected to brush the hurt away by an apology.
Oh and coming from the horror that disgusting, minging Ryan....NO way.

Exactly, the brave comments were almost as nauseating as his fake apology & I say fake because I don't believe he meant a word of it, a bit of damage limitation before he becomes a world wide superstar.
Jeez, I can almost picture his orange face, contorted with anger while he typed that tweet.

Did he say stuff about all those people?
It is nice he apologised, however I wonder if he really means it. Somebody mentioned him being young. I certainly did not have those views at 21!
If he has genuinely changed then I would say good on him..but I don't know. It is coincidental how he is apologising now.

I agree. I've been told off for not accepting apologies but the fact is that they are often just offered to smooth things over for the apologee and make them feel better .
I don't hold grudges but I'm not pretending to be Polyanna Perfect by accepting and hugging and bullshitting when in reality I'm really not happy or feeling disappointed in the person .
I notice with apologies you get all the excuses for the event , like Ryan saying he was young . Youth is no excuse for horrific insults such as those he throws around . Besides he's still scummy now , going by that bedroom filth that upset Jason . The irony of Ryan refusing to discuss or be teased about his overtly sexual tryst in bed with Hughie , but then shouting filth about what Alex should do to Evelyn .
He getting praised for being the bigger man for apologising? - A bigger person wouldn't have made the original comments in the first place.

I definitely did not hold those views at 21. I think people can change, I really do. But it took for him being exposed on twitter to apologise? That is the only thing that makes me doubt the sincerity of the apology.
I have not accepted apologies, also. Mostly I do, but when I know there is no real sincerity then I won't. 'You say sorry, then kill me afterwards", is something I have said on occasion.

He dressed up as a ' Cilla Zombie ' 3 months after her death, done a ' surprise surprise, Cillas back ' sketch' and put it on you tube. He blacked his face and body to resemble a 'Lucky lucky man' selling his wares, he had a real nasty rant at ( his words ) fat benefit scroungers.
He's not changed. He's been called out on Twitter by a lot of people about his tweet to Luke Anderson, he's now excited to be latching on to Hughie, who will most definitely get a lot of deals when he's out. The desperado wants some of it. God knows, he's been trying for long enough.

Very good of Luke, but he's been a bit silly imo. He should have kept quiet and not publicly forgiven Ryan until after BOTS tonight (that's if production are mad enough to have him on) so he could get a proper grilling. Alas now he can say 'all's forgiven' etc and swiftly move on
