I don't think so either. Jason is just fixated on the booing crowd and feeling down and paranoid.

The problem with the house is we can't really say what exactly is happening in there, as we only get a small window of what's going on through selective editing.

He basically feels like he's going to lose and is going to go out to boos and is throwing a tantrum

That's already been covered in one of your threads. I'll get my coat.

I wouldn't think so. I think Jason is tormenting himself.

I think he's a nice guy but he has a pathological need for everybody to know that he is a nice guy. Now he thinks he's disliked he REALLY can't cope with it.

Some people need to be liked. They can't just brush it off. He's doing this to himself.

Don't know why. It has nothing to do with Andy. Jason is responsible only for himself. If Jason chooses to let crowd booes or even a little dissing from other housemates put him into such a state so easily then what's he doing the BB house? Andy has been through much worse since the beginning and he's handled it all very well. What is Jason's problem?? He needs to man up.

Jason feeling down & doubting himself because he had a $hit task yesterday.
He felt if he was being targeted through out the BB News Task.

They played Lateysha slating off Jason when she was on BOTS. The one where every one was rabid and baying for Jason's blood headed by Tina Malone.

With Jason wondering what the hell Charlie has been saying about him on the outside & having a hand in the last two evictions, Jason is sure he's hated on the outside. The crowd boos didn't help either.

Alex and Andy have been with Jason through out the day, trying to talk him around not to walk. They keep reminding Jason was saved on Friday & not to take notice of the crowd.

If Jason is up for eviction this week and after hearing today's nominations, Jason may decide to walk after all

No they are not goading him. He is a middle aged full grown man yet some people still insist that he is being bullied by a load of females and gay men half his age. Hahaha.

Jason is his own worst enemy, nobody else is to blame for him behaving like a sulky teenager.

Absolutely! He just shows it more than most - hasn't almost every HM said how paranoid the house makes them? And of course they have fragile egos and need to be loved or they wouldn't be on this programme. I think Jason is just not good at hiding his every moment of self doubt.

I don't think they are goading him at all.

he's probably just thinking about his change of reaction from the crowd and feels he is in a lose/lose situation.

I can't take it anymore. How is it that some housemates cannot so much as open their mouth or appear on screen without drawing the vilest comments or insinuations, yet today there seem to be countless threads regarding whether Jason is being goaded, bullied or is chonically lacking in self confidence.

He's old enough to be many of the housemate's Fathers. He seems to have lived a life and earned a great deal of money. Of course, every person has their own positive and negative traits and their own insecurities but I confess I am 100% bamboozled how so many people seem to suddenly be imagining infinite sorrows and psychological explanations for Jason, yet cannot abide other housemates' mere face...

As far as I see it, Jason desperately wants to win. Everyone wants to win of course. But not to this consuming degree that has become apparent with Jason. This is not to take away from Jason's positive qualities. He can be caring and understanding. He has been there for people. And he can certainly hold his tongue. But I am starting to think that just like a couple of the younger housemates (maybe even Jayne - I am sure I heard her once comment about fame) Jason has some idea on some level inside him that if he wins Big Brother he might magically become Bruce Willis or something.....???

I said something similar to this on another thread. Totally agree. What is up with Jason that he is so OTT depressed about what the chavvy crowd thinks---or even his fellow housemates?? Andy (for example) has much more reason to be depressed but seems to have handled it all. All the housemates have been put down to varying degree. Sheesh Jason----get over yourself!!

I agree. All the housemates have been booed to some degree I think (barring maybe Hughie.) Does Jason feel they all deserve it but not he?

If it was Sam who was this level of depressed I could understand it. He isn't a favourite on the outside but in the house he did not (as far as I recall) receive a single nomination prior to today - the only housemate not to. And not 'cause people fear him or anything. I think everyone in the house (and even if you dislike him it seems to me easy to see why) genuinely loves Sam. If he was really depressed following boo's you'd understand it.

To me, Jason's reaction over mere boos suggests no matter what he said he never genuinely feared he'd be in the bottom 3....

But my issue here isn't with Jason: I cannot understand how people are willing to go to such absurd lengths to explain or excuse Jason but have such pure, unmitigated vitriol for the slightest action from (or even the sight of!) others. I can't figure the logic to it!

I agree. If anyone should be upset it should be Sam because in there no one knows including himself why he's getting booed.

I agree. He has said he went in the house to change people's opinions on him and hearing that crowd must make him think it has all been a waste of his time.
