Kylie's unique death? CS

Sorry if this has been talked about but I was just wondering what they meant when it was said that a soap has never done this before. But people being stabbed has been done before. Brian Tisley being one of them. So what did they mean by this?

When is someone from the production team going to come out and explain this statement?

Seeing as no one from the production team ever made such a statement I'd say never.

I think they mean a male has never stabbed a female before in a soap

Quite, I am not sure why so many are demanding an explanation, no one in production said it was unique.

It was I think, the first murder in broad daylight on the cobbles? with witnesses, and with the person dying with lots of neighbours looking on.

No, the press twisted the words of Paula Lane, she said something along the lines of her never reading an ending like this, and the press interpreted this as meaning a "soap first", no one at Corrie ever made the statement, It was the press over exaggerating as usual.

Maybe they didn't use the actual word unique but they said it had never been done on a soap before. Talk about misleading.

Again wasn't that how the press decided the comments were meant and not what was actually said

The press made the mistake, No one from corrie has anything to rectify

Apparently the daily mail picked up on something Paula said and twisted it in one of their articles.

Bit contrived!

Well if Clayton does get sent down, it will be unique. It'll be the first time in Corrie that they got they right person first time round and it will be quicker than they usually catch most murderers in Weatherfield.
