Why do the producers want BB to be ALL about conflict??

I am seriously becoming disillusioned with BB now.

All this programme has become is trying to cause as much conflict as possible. Is there really any need to tell the housemates what other housemates have said about them??

The producers of BB are a bunch of childish morons!!

Channel 5's version of BB seems to revolve around conflict and showmances, the rest is a bonus.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding it pretty tedious now.

I think the majority are to be honest. I am seeing out the rest of the series and then giving up. The show is boring, it feel's like every series is the same but with different HM's. I don't know how anybody can find this enjoyable anymore, it's dreadful tv.

Agreed, they seemed to have run out of ideas and see conflict as the only thing they have left.

I totally agree.

I have told myself a couple of times I'm going to give up on this show but I keep watching in the hope that it might, just might get better.

The only thing that bought me back after the last series was them adding an extension to the house, but even that turned out to be a waste of time. They barely use it, i would rather see it used for everyday use.

Then there was them saying "everything is changing", i was sure they was talking crap but to see them completely lie to the audience like that pushed me over the edge. Nothing changed at all, nothing, and they expect us to just accept this crap. I just can't be bothered with the bullshit anymore. It's like every episode they manage to come up with something to annoy me now.

There are two versions of Big Brother that really got the viewing figures;

The early days when the Production Team invested their own time, expense, etc in brilliant tasks. The show was FUN....if the current BB has made you forget the meaning of the word it means - something that provides mirth or amusement, enjoyment or playfulness.

Then there is the current version. The one that centres around bitching, arguments, back stabbing. Mostly are encouraged or instigated by Producers. This means very little invested in the show by the Production Team, financially or time wise!

I prefer the former but acknowledge I will never see it again. The question is can I stand any more of the latter?!!

True, but that is because the HM's aren't as up for it as they were in those 2 series. But the producers certainly are trying, it's like it's the only thing they can offer now.

Because they're terrified that people will refer to it as "another BB4".

agree and watched from the first series and wish they would try to go back basics. This series some could be in CBB, Layteysha, maybe an hope voted out as soon as possible if it does happen. She should get over it and stop whining.

I think BB on Channel 5 was summed up after 4 in 4 out last year, when Emma said "We had to do something, you were all getting on so well". It pretty much says that unless there is conflict, it's not good enough.

There has always been arguments between housemates. I don't think you can put a large group of strangers in a house and expect every single one of them to get along with each other. There is bound to be a certain amount of conflict, I get that.

What I object to is that the producers are deliberately creating conflict in almost every show.

It's the same thing over and over again and it has become really tedious.

But if you look at the other Reality Shows they are all the same. TOWIE, MIC, GS, I could go on, they are all of the same mould & Channel 5 has gradually taken BB nearer & nearer to this mould. They have even cast previous Reality people in them. This is what BB has become & eventually it will be no different than all the others with NO VIEWER participation at all. We have already lost the power to vote for most of this series....that is the start. Soon ALL viewer participation will be a thing of the past!
