I heard it was Steve then read something somewhere that they had changed it.

Because as mentioned there was rumours that it had been changed so no harm to see other people's thoughts.

Ah now this would have been clever. Especially if she winds up getting back with Nick, and he learns she's carrying Peter's baby. And then eventually Peter comes back, shocked when he discovers he has another kid running around!

It would be nice to think it was re-written because this is so ridiculous they might as well have just put names in a hat.

I hope they have changed it as I thought the original 'father' was ridiculous. He would be a parent for a second time after a one night stand. I would hope it's someone that Leanne has more of a connection with.
