Clearly it's salt and vinegar, as any sane and morally upstanding citizen of these isles will tell you. But since I'm dubious about some of you I have included other, objectively inferior options. Which is best?

By the way, if you're going to be awkward and go for "sour cream and onion" or something ridiculous like that, please just pick the closest reasonable match ("cheese and onion" in this case).

Swap that for cheese and onion and I would agree with you. Only Walkers/Lays though, I hate those "posh" hard crisps that rip you mouth apart when you eat them!

Salt and vinegar are horrible to me, I know lots of weirdos do like them though

Clearly it isn't Salt and Vinegar.

My vote went to Ready Salted.

Worcestershire Sauce is a glaring omission from the list.

i voted smokey bacon, pickled onion would be a close second. salt and vinegar would always be a last resort for me.

You can't just pick one. Although if I was forced to only eat one type of crisp for ever more it would be the chorizo flavour Piper's crisps. The chorizo and feta Kettle Chips are close but not as good. I like all kinds though. Too difficult a question!

Marmite or M&S Honey Roast Ham are far and away my favourites.

The correct answer is roast chicken.

If it's Seabrooks or Walkers then it's ready salted all day long.

Cheese 'n onion for me. Though I also like beef 'n onion though getting any beefy crisps can be tricky these days.
Fashion at the moment seems to be for chillis in everything, but I rather liked the horseradish or mustard varieties too. I miss the '90s

Ready salted, especially because it complements all sandwich fillings.

Actually, salt and lineker is right at the bottom.

Cheese and onion, smoky bacon, roast chicken etc all far better. Even potato flavour is better than salt and vinegar

Worcestershire sauce, then ready salted.

I'm very disappointed in about 80% of you. I even told you the right answer! There's just no helping some people.

By the way, I'm surprised at the poor performance of pickled onion in this poll. While I maintain that salt and vinegar is the only correct choice, I could at least countenance the notion that pickled onion Monster Munch might contest the title.

If anyone claims to prefer a different flavour of Monster Munch I'm calling the police.

Marmite or Chilli Heatwave Doritos. I'm also rather partial to Asda Bacon Bites.
