So he'll have a heart attack and die I assume. Hopefully it's Phelan kills the wet blanket off.

He's only been back two minutes! And with yet another (sort of) spoiler from Corrie, why should we bother investing interest in Gail and Michael since he'll be gone before Christmas!

Hope Phelan bumps him off!

That would be good to see Phelan off the snivelling little worm for good.

I shall enjoy watching him die.

Hope Phelan makes him beg for his life then kills him anyway.

Thank goodness he's going. I don't think I could bear it any longer if he and Gail really were going in for another round of simpering middle-aged slop.

Poor Gail.

Maybe this will ultimately bring Gail and Eileen a lot closer at last? I imagine Michael will play a large part in Phelan's downfall.

The sooner Les and Janice return the better the programme is in crisis.

Seeing as he is the only person on the street who knows what phelan is capable of, I imagine he will see Phelan do something and Phelan will kill him to keep quiet.

I'm not going to complain anyway, because I've hated Moany Michael ever since he first appeared. And his marriage to Gail was too cringey. His constant appeal for sympathy from Gail in the early days of their relationship really annoyed me.

Phelan is obviously going to kill him. Either that or Michael confronts him, gets angry and then has a heart attack. Only Phelan wont call for help.

LOL it must be just me. I like Michael! And I like him and Gail. And I was kinda glad that they are giving it another go. So I am sorry he's going

Him dumping Gail over the thing with NotGavin was dumb. He blamed HER for lying etc, but didn't apportion any blame towards NotGavin. And then he went off with Eileen. And then SHE just sloped off with Phelan at the drop of a hat. Daft. All of it.

I LOATHE Phelan. Hope Michael takes him when he leaves.

Excellent news, he's a terrible terrible character. Don't really see the point in bringing him back after his last break, although I suppose it's always amusing to see more misery heaped on Gail.

I think death is inevitable. Yet more heartache ahead for Gail and the Platts.
