Thats too bad. Michael grew on me over time, I actually ended up liking him with Gail. But if he's going to leave now, it all seems very pointless. He never really did much on the street to make an impact and now Gail will have yet another husband written off except this time there really was no point in having her marry him at all! I would have liked to see them be a nice quiet married couple a little longer and see Michael and Andy develop more of a relationship.

Thank God! Someone who sees it as I do. We seem to be in the minority on this forum.
I've nothing against Les, but good riddance to the character! I couldn't stand the relationship between him and Gail, why on earth did they have to have her marry again and then turn her into this soppy mess obsessed with him?
I'm made up he is leaving. Awful character and it was just too unbelievable that he would forgive Andy for pretending to be his son or Gail for not telling him that his son was dead!

Michael is as soft as his ice cream. Phelan will just give him a good licking and send him on his way.
Anybody else think he was actually axed. Strange how only a few months ago he had signed for another year then they get a new producer and all of a sudden he is "leaving" to pursue other things.

I think this is a strong possibility, either that or he took an inference and left before he was pushed.
