Wouldn't claim it as a universal truth! But then, universal truths are thin on the ground. Not even the laws of physics can be claimed as universal truths, although they're about as true as truths get!

We all have different views on things and the world would be a tedious place if we all agreed on everything.

It's a difference of opinion. It is allowed!

I think that you'll find that I didn't say, or imply, that in my post.

Of course, we've no real idea what actually went on between them - but we have to assume that it was fairly serious, otherwise, why would Ronnie still be in love with him forty years later ”

Unless Chrissie is the younger of Lawrence's two 'daughters', it's only 26 years.

Chrissie was born in 1980 and the implication of what Ronnie said was that he left Lawrence at that time, so that Lawrence could play happy families. The only doubt that I have, hence the caveat in my first sentence, is that it is conceivable that Ronnie was referring to an earlier birth (Rebecca?), but I do not believe that to be the case myself.

If this was Ally Ross's Sun TV page this comment would be under the 'grand delusionional comment of the week' section

You are far kinder than me ONJ, I wouldn't say anything has messed with his head because there's nothing in there to mess with. Durvid is acting like a ridiculous imbecilic prat because he is a ridiculous imbecilic prat, plain and simple

Never bought The Sun, never read The Sun, wouldn't be seen dead with The Sun!

Just because someone has an opinion with which you disagree doesn't mean that that person's delusional.

That's like saying, "Apart from that, Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

You're quite right! I've forgotten how to count - how could I lose a decade just like that! According to the Emmerdale Wikia, Chrissie was born in 1980, which does, indeed, make her 36! The horrible truth is that 1980 doesn't seem as long ago these days as it should!

Don't think that it invalidates the point about Ronnie & Lawrence though!
