A lot of praise for Lin Blakley who plays Pam tonight, I thought she was brilliant in tonights episode in her portrayal of Pam's denial and grief, I really felt for her.

Yes, that scene with her and Shirley was especially very well done.

Yep it was gritty and real Les and Pam .....incredible acting especially at the end when they return home and Pam goes inside Paul's room the second she shuts the door. Les lets his emotions out

I thought both her and Roger were brilliant. They work so well as a couple, you just believe in their relationship and their reactions to each other.

She was good but Les was better especially that jump when she shut Pauls door.

Agreed Roger was fantastic as Les too, I probably should have put them both in the title

They were the highlight of a pretty average episode.

Some good scenes with the Cokers tonight.

But Pam is still scum though.

I find Pam and Les to be the most natural couple on the show, you can tell Lin and Roger are good friends. Even from little things like Les handing the pen to Pam earlier, I really hope they're around for the long haul!

I usually find her really irritating but she was excellent tonight. Very believable.

Pretty average episode?!!
What about the high octane acting from Harry Reid as Ben when he learned Paul was dead and Phil called Paul his 'friend'?
I thought it was a fantastic emotional episode.

Pam is going to have a lot of guilt now.

Paul died without knowing who his Mother was.

I wonder if Jenny will reappear now?

Why did neither of them produce any tears?

I really felt for her too... and now she will have to deal with the guilt of Paul not knowing Jenny.

I guess you're lucky to have never have lost a loved one unexpectedly? x
