But were either Rick or Jason voted as greatest musician of all time? And how are they being talked about? Is there body of work and lasting legacy being talked about as era defining?
The context I mentioned about whether Justin bieber will of won't be discussed in years to come is in respect of how history will view his contribution to music. Not in terms of whether he'll have done a couple of comeback albums and an anniversary tour.
For someone to win the accolade of greatest musician of all time, what is his lasting contribution to music and how do you see his legacy?

Much better songs. For someone who came out of a kiddy band, he has found himself well respected and names in the industry queue up to work with him.

He's not best musician of all time, this poll is ludicrous, but I think he is talented and his body of work will be more influential and memorable than someone like Jason Donovan.
