Will kate oates air the big stunt for its 9,000 episode

I doubt it, they don't really care about the episode milestones. I'm sure the episode numberings are slightly out anyway due to some production code anomalies back in the 70s.

Episode 9000 is due to air late September / early October though so who knows, we could end up with the two events coincidentally colliding.

Then it's on to episode 10,000 which with the move to six episodes should arrive sooner than anticipated. Spring 2019 by my reckoning.

Yup. They celebrate milestones using production codes but Episodes are missing. The most famous of these is Episode 1000 which doesn't exist.
