Hi everyone, we all think that we could do a better job than the producer (and the scriptwriters) of Coronation Street at times, but if you had the chance to be in charge then is there a story that you would like to see develop (or do you think that a particular character is in need of a decent storyline at the moment)?

Get rid of the deadwood i.e. The Nazir family, Sean, Michelle, Fiz, Dev, Gemma and Alex.
Bring in a stunt in a big location - i.e. the rumoured one could happen at the Rovers
Be more gritty and dark in stories - introduce crime and more shock stories.
I want more action, more crime not the usual stories I would usually see on Neighbours - I mean because it is a different type of soap

I would love to see Corrie tackle Male Anorexia as I think that would be quite a good issue to cover as it can affect boys as well as girls but I can't see any on the current cast doing this so maybe a new character?
I would also like to see Nick and Leanne become a proper couple and raise the baby as Nick's with them having a child of their own in the future.

Why not?
I prefer the stunts when they are done well like the tram crash or underworld exploding back in 2010 or Emmerdale with the plane crash or storm or recent helicopter crash.
Stunts provide drama and that is what is needed in corrie right now.

You mention "dark" "gritty" and "crime" stories, but that's just not Corrie, and It should stick to what It does best, warmth and humour with dramatic (but not dark) storylines in my opinion. We'll agree to disagree

I'm glad no one on here are in charge.
Have Sally in a storyline which sees her publicly fall from grace. I like Sally, but I would like to see her brought down a peg or two for her snobbery and having to rely on the kindness of those she has been horrible to in the past. For example Jenny.
Kate to NOT get it on with Sophie now she has split from Caz.
Keep Billy and Todd together. They fit so much better than Billy with Sean.
Nick and Leanne reunite once and for all.
Simon shipped off the the Bermuda triangle never to be seen again.
Tracy's donor kidney to fail leaving her needing another transplant. Given her past behaviour what sort of sympathy would she get from people. Beth, Todd and Ken would naturally support her. But what about others? Then there is the effect on Amy too.
David to not rush into a new relationship. Let's see how he copes as a single parent for a while first.
Kate to NOT get it on with Sophie now she has split from Caz.

Get rid of David Pratt - oh sorry, typo - Todd, the Nazirs, the twisted loony in the kebab shop, Phelan, Eva, Michelle and Liz.
Then resign.

Get moving with the Audrey and Ken stuff - it's been a long enough period of time for Ken to be open to a new relationship and good knows Audrey needs a man in her life after all these years. They'd make a great retired couple, I'd then have these two buy the rovers and have Maria working behind the bar.
Keep going with this Norris and Kirk stuff, really intriguing.
Dev to flog the corner shop to Zeedan, who uses it to sell hooky booze and cigs until the law catch up with him when a large number of street residents turn unwell.
Leanne to have a miscarriage, saving Steve's blushes and allowing Michelle and Steve to have a happy ending for once.

- Yasmeen organises a "Calendar Girls" shoot for charity starring Liz, Erica, Eileen, Gail, Anna, Mary and Kathy. She purposely snubs Sally who starts up her own nude calendar featuring the factory girls.......yet another hilarious episode in the never-ending Yasmeen/Sally rivalry.
