When she heard what Alex had said about her you could tell it upset her.

She got flushed in the exact same way as during the office task when Georgina was slating her and saying what the public must have thought of her. Although she tries to pretend it doesn't affect her it clearly does.

She also expected him to choose her for the meal as well as did everyone else by the look of things

She should really drop him now. It must be confusing for her because other HMs, like the idiot Laura, keep pushing her to pursue him and he sleeps in her bed and cuddles her. But the comment she heard and him inviting Jason to dinner instead of her, should make her realise. If she removed herself from him, he would be a mumbling non-entity again.
