Yes, I feel sorry for Evelyn. It's harsh been mugged off like that on telly.

Alex is a crass idiot. She'll have offers galore when she gets out of the house. I can't see why he's supposed to be good looking. Whereas her beauty is undeniable.

Offers galore.....well that is not something I would forward to, 'special offers' are usually that, that is left on the shelf.

Yes, hats off to her. She took it pretty well, being able to crack a joke about it in the DR afterwards.

If you're suggesting that Evelyn will be left on the shelf, then i think you've been on what Kerry Katona was on last night

Oh, I do. He should not have led her on. But how often is she prepared to humiliate herself on national television? It's up to her to have some self-respect.

Fame has overtaken the idea of self respect.

He is an idiot. At first I thought maybe he wasn't that interested because she was too immature for him but a few of his remarks that I could decipher recently reveal HE is an immature tool.

Euro tunnel...wake up kid....ugh. What a d*ck. Of course I may have misinterpreted his mumbling and he was confessing to ringing in his ears or anal itching or something...you never know with him...but I think she should leave that childish creep be.

Neither of us know (unless you're a mind reader) the true nature of her feelings, if any, for Alex.

Maybe her feelings for him don't run too deep, and thus it was easier for her to laugh about it.

However it was still most probably a bit embarrassing for her not to have been picked, and thus it was to her credit that she was able to laugh about it afterwards.

I doubt they were either, but that doesn't mean she was faking them.

Their whole interaction is just surface level bullshit. Essentially navel gazing. It's a 'pretty' alliance because pretty people are so cool together aren't they? Its the only reason her and Laura are 'friends'. In reality they don't give a shit about each other but they're pretty so the optics are good when they lipstick lez it up. And Alex is good looking so it must be right? Match made in heaven, got to be.

Essentially this is what happens when a 'couple' run out of nothing. It's not real, it's all ego based. They don't care so why should we?

Yes and what is she supposed to think with Alex's best mate constantly telling her he likes her?
I notice no one is really discussing Jackson in that vid on this forum currently (at least not that I can see).

She can't 'drop' him ... she's have to have 'had' him in the first place to do that

What she can do, is have the self respect to back off, and accept that for all the 'putting it out there' that she's done ... he is simply doesn't want her

There's only a week left, and she's in the final ... time for her to forget the showmance angle, and think of other ways she can make the small window of 'fame' she will have when she leaves the house last a bit longer

I don't think Evelyn was barking up the wrong tree with Alex, she was barking up the wrong forest.

I find Alex a peculiar one to work out. All that time in the house and you get the attention of an attractive young lady and you have the demeanour around her like an arachnophobic who's just woken up and found a tarantula on their face. He looks ridiculously uneasy around her in a way that goes beyond 'Sorry love, you're not my type'.

It almost seems as if he's a bit disgusted with the idea of being with her. Makes me wonder, given all the money he spends on himself with new dentures and all the time he spends in the gym, if he's not one of those people who internalises his sexual desires and finds adult relationships with other people unappealing.

She should try ignoring him and just have a good time. She is demeaning herself by thinking she has something going with Alex when he is just not interested.
