Or the Hulk..."you wouldn't like me when I'm angry". Would take at least 10 security to deal with him. Wish he would as that would at least be some semblance of personality

So my post is the only post on this forum that has moaned? I think you'll find that forums, particularly when personalities are being discussed, contain large amounts of moaning posts.
I didn't realise I had to ask permission to make a negative comment.

I'm afraid I wouldn't want to speak with any of them....the only person to show any kind of loyalty to Jason is Andy. I like him and hope he is in the final.

I too am a Jason fan and I hate to say it, but if he doesn't perk up a bit he's a goner.

The miserable sod makes for grim viewing.

Initially I thought it was the presence of Charlie that was making him such a misery guts. But he's no longer got that excuse.

he's lost all ability to laugh at anything, Jayne asking him if he was playing, he could have at least managed a smile and a "cheeky cow" comment

At this point, I'd like to apologise to Veri, Vesna and Angie Plasty. They were three posters (there may have been more that I don't recall) who from the very get-go were saying that he was laying on the martyrdom and victimhood thick.

Because I thought Charlie was nuts (still do) I disagreed. However, I can now admit that I was COMPLETELY wrong about Jason. He is just miserable, sulky, dull and entitled. He is utterly humourless. I came around to this way of thinking fairly soon after Charlie left and he seemed to get worse, rather than better.

However, I have been utterly gobsmacked by how his pushing a button faster than other people has somehow raised him to the status of forum favourite and series 'hero'. Baffled, bemused, bewildered. People don't seem to be able to admit that they only really like him because of how much they DISLIKED Lateysha and Ryan. Nothing to do with him. Nothing to do with Jason. Because, by God, there's not much to love, is there?

He's a miserable, miserable man.

Glad you can see him for what he is.

No need for apologies, Patsy, not to me anyway. It's all just opinion and opinions change with new evidence. I've changed my mind on most of them several times since it started. I personally never gave much mind to his situation with Charlie as I considered them a double act and the whole thing fake from the start, so his early martyrdom routine was just that to me, though it still took me by surprise that he actually ramped it up after she left.

Don't worry, you're not alone. I liked him at the start, and in fact he was one of my initial favourites.

But I've reached the same conclusion as yourself: he's just one big miserable sod, severely lacking in humour.

I agree. Also Alex has been quite loyal to him though, and showed him kindness with the dinner, clearly seeing Jason was having a tough time during that task.

He's not a trained seal. If the guy isn't happy, why would you want him to fake it? Sure, I wish he'd lighten up a bit, but I will always love him for giving me the two brightest spots of the series, so far (yes, his two evictions). Personally, I've never found him boring...still waters often run deep...except in cases like Alex,of course.

I actually really like him, who cares if he's miserable.

I'm getting a bit tired of repeating myself. The reason why Jason has been feeling down lately and hasn't really been involved in parties and celebrations and been miserable is because of the way the HMs have reacted to his decision to evict Lateysha and to vote for Ryan. (Somebody should remind Hughie, BTW, that he wasn't the only one to pick Ryan). The other HMs had the right to be upset that Lateysha, a friend of theirs was going, but not to react as strongly as they did, saying things like it was the wrong decision and that he would be next, which completely showed how self-entitled they were. Why should he have to accept people throwing their toys out of the pram and being unfairly spoken to like that?

He has had so much constant stick from them. He doesn't like confrontation and as a result, he is understandably feeling down, as would a lot of people. I too don't like confrontation and if I was in his shoes, I would be feeling exactly the same. As I have previously said on this forum, if he had picked someone like Jayne, who was seen as an easy target, then they wouldn't have reacted the way they did. In their eyes, it would have been okay for her to go, but not for Lateysha, and they wouldn't have been like how they have been with him, and Jason wouldn't be feeling the way he is.

Very well said ABC........

I've liked Jason from the start, and he has done nothing to change that opinion.

The fact he can be miserable and grumpy means nothing to me.

IMO he is the most genuine in the house, and I hope he makes the final. He certainly has offered a damn sight more than the likes of Alex and Sam.

Definitely something wrong with someone who thinks like this, might be worth you seeing someone about it.
