He said two funny things yesterday. First, when Jayne asked him if he was playing, he said he was just standing there; then, when on his 'date' with Alex he said, "Just so you know, I don't f*** on the first date".

And he's not one of my favourites.

(Somebody should remind Hughie, BTW, that he wasn't the only one to pick Ryan). The other HMs had the right to be upset that Lateysha, a friend of theirs was going, but not to react as strongly as they did, saying things like it was the wrong decision and that he would be next, which completely showed how self-entitled they were. Why should he have to accept people throwing their toys out of the pram and being unfairly spoken to like that?

He has had so much constant stick from them. He doesn't like confrontation and as a result, he is understandably feeling down, as would a lot of people. I too don't like confrontation and if I was in his shoes, I would be feeling exactly the same. As I have previously said on this forum, if he had picked someone like Jayne, who was seen as an easy target, then they wouldn't have reacted the way they did. In their eyes, it would have been okay for her to go, but not for Lateysha, and they wouldn't have been like how they have been with him, and Jason wouldn't be feeling the way he is.”

Firstly - it's not lately. Lots of us gave him the benefit of the doubt while Charlie was in there. But he's been consistently miserable, with our without her.

I don't see any constant stick, at all. Andy, Jayne, Alex, Jackson - they've all tried to bring him around and cheer him up and advice him to suck it up. He's just in full-on martyr mode. It's an awful personality trait, this martyrdom. Soooo unattractive.

I didn't think either was funny. He looked ridiculous standing at the back refusing to push the button - infantile. And was unnecessarily snappy with Jayne.

The 'I don't **** on the first date' was highly hypocritical from someone who had an issue with Ryan making sexual comment to Alex.

IMO he is the most genuine in the house, and I hope he makes the final. He certainly has offered a damn sight more than the likes of Alex and Sam.”

He's the only deserving winner. On last night's show, the whole of the dinner with Alex thing was cut out of the show. But in a video clip, he's happy and cracking jokes.

It's just BB's narrative for him.

Excellent post and sums up my feelings exactly. He didn't get much of a break post Charlie to all the rest of it and the way some of them reacted you would think he had condemned L & R to the gallows. Completely out of all proportion and he got very little understanding. Even if they didn't think he had no right to evict L or R, they were still happy to go along with him being scapegoated as the villain of the house - so they can hide in the background for longer and cast themselves as nicer people, in their eyes, to the viewing public; However I think it is how people react to things that often shows their true colours. I thought Chelsea was a buffoon but he at least could take his eviction by the others with some grace.

L & R both showed themseves to be petty and small minded, Hughie who I did quite like has gone way down with his petulant self-rightousness in not speaking to Jason and saying that Jason did not 'deserve' to be in the house. Sam is a boring ar*e licker who has been happy to go with the group thinking, Jayne is like a dog with a bone although kinder than some; Laura and Evelyn both seem too self absorbed to care. Alex has gone up in my estimantion because he has at least tried to be a friend and Andy as well. It is the little things that make the difference.

I like Jason really because of what he is not rather than what he is and that makes him one of the nicer people in a house where nobody is a scintillating personality.

BIB. That's why it was funny, because he was clearly annoyed and said he was just standing there, whilst Jayne was giggling to herself, also. I found it funny that he was so so annoyed.

And the sexual comment - I did find it funny, but I can see why you'd think it was hypocritical. Although, perhaps in his mind, he probably felt that he was not as bad, seeing as Ryan's comment was very direct about two other people, whereas he was joking abut himself.

I am not even a Jason supporter

How would the other housemates have treated him if he'd won the prize to save and replace? And Janyne was the one being infantile.

That was a mistake - the cameraman has probably been sacked for that

I don't think that was about loyalty to Jason. He just wanted a good enough reason for not picking Evelyn.

Yes. And they keep showing these short shots of him sat without a big fake smile on his face for the cameras.

I don’t mind Jason but there’s no denying he’s quite a miserable person. There may well be reasons to feel peed off and down in that place at times but at the end of the day they all know it’s not their real life. He’s on BB which is an experience of a lifetime, plus he’s got £20k to go out to.

Cheer the hell up!

If he'd picked Evelyn, his complete lack of personality would have been clear for all to see.

Yes, there are REASONS for him being peed off. So instead of kicking him for being peed off, why don't people just accept that he has reasons to be peed off?

You say they all know it's not real life, but they still have real feelings even though they're spending a few weeks of their lives in the BB house.

If only "cheer up" were enough to cheer someone up when they're down.

Who's kicking him? I'm watching a TV show and commenting on why I think a person should not be so miserable. They are in there for our viewing pleasure after all.

As I said he does have reasons to be peed off 'at times' but he has a lot more reasons to be cheerful.

Just saying 'cheer up' isn't enough to cheer someone up but £20k is. It would certainly make me feel better.

I think Charlie had started to put some doubt in the other HMs' minds with her comments about Jason being different, (etc). I remember she had managed to do that not long before she left. I think this didn't help when it came to everyone's reactions to him evicting Lateysha. And also, Charlie's and Lateysha's evictions only came within a few days from each other, so that doesn't leave a lot of time for Jason to be able to relax again anyway.

Yes, a few of the others have tried to cheer him up, but as I mentioned above, he doesn't like confrontation. He is also very sensitive and the comments he has received in there, (not just from the others about him picking Lateysha and Ryan, but also hearing a lot of negative things about him in the news task), meant that he has understandably been feeling down about it.
