I imagine this thread will have a lot of different answers! But who do you think were unfairly disliked? My list in no particular order.

1. Hira BB10- Why? Just why was she booed? She came across as one of the most harmless women you can ever come across. She didn't have the traits that others have that cause them to get boos. She wasn't confident, she wasn't "sexual", she was kind, softly spoken and goofy. This still makes no sense. Maybe it was just BB10... she actually did have one the best reception of the series to be fair. Everyone got bad boos that year.

2. Stephanie BB9- Another why? She didn't deserve to be a first evictee, it should have been Mario, he should have been the first ever male evicted, i guess we finally got there this year with Marco 8 years later!

3. Tashie BB12- This also baffles me. She did nothing wrong. AT ALL. The only thing I remember her saying the night before the eviction was "the moon is crying".. does that deserve boos?

4. Sam BB6- This I kind of get because she was pretty, but just jealousy, she was treated horrifically in the house.

5. Sam Robertson CBB11- This is the most baffling to me. A guy, traditionally "good looking", did nothing wrong. Seemed pleasant. He got booed. People may not even remember him, but he certainly didn't deserve boos.

Adele in BB3. I still don't understand what she was supposed to have done that was bad.

The phrase "two faced" is thrown around so carelessly these days that it has lost all credibility, but back in BB3 it actually had meaning and Adele was arguably the first housemate to be labelled as such. And rightfully so. There were quite a few instances where she would be nicey nicey to a housemate then mutter something under her breath the second they were out of ear shot. I think after a while she was a victim of the editing (probably the first case of that too) but you cannot edit something that doesn't happen.

Amelia BBCH. I think it was the first time a runner-up got booed.

I never understood the dislike for him or how a winner could be booed.

But I agree with Emilia. I'd also add Jade, the first evictee of BBCH to the list too.

In Hira's case I think because the whole house were up for eviction the crowd were (moreso than usual) baying for blood and hopeful that either Bea or Lisa would be evicted. She was just unfortunate to be the one to actually go.

With Sam from CBB11, well he was incredibly dull and talked about how boring he found the whole process. Whereas I don't think he deserved to be booed, he didn't exactly do much to warrant cheers either. I would say the mixed reception he got was quite fair. Plus I think the boos when his name was called were more of an indication from the crowd that they wanted him gone over Ryan.

I completely remember him. He was pleasant and totally not deserving of that reaction. He got on with all housemate and was only nominated for being lazy. That right? It was unfortunate that he got the 'Alex Cannon edit' so BB could favour The Rylan Show (i remember coming on here and there were posts asking ''wheres Sam'')


I would say Anthony bb6 being the first ever contestant being boo'ed INTO the house because he was pulling out some impressive 70s dance moves

The crowd when Sam from bb6 was evicted were an absolute disgrace. Bearing in mind the context of the utterly miserable time she had in there, it was shameful stuff. Wasn't she hit on the leg with a plastic bottle or something too? It was almost like Lesley, who'd been evicted a week earlier, had gotten her family and friends down to the studio, just for giggles.
Rachel Rice was in my opinion unfairly booed. Even if people didn't like her, there was something vaguely unsportsmanlike about the reaction she got. She won fair and square.
Same thing with Aaron.

Aaron. He wins fairly, he wasn't a nasty piece of work and just because he beat Jay, the crowd booed him.

That was Jade who was nasty to Sophie, Adele was shown just before eviction night calling fireman Johnny 'a w**ker' behind his back, small potatoes these days but then it was enough to get Adele evicted*.


*Saving Jade, incidentally.

Adele was just as bad as Jade in her treatment of Sophie. Horrible cow.

While it is one of the best evictions ever, I didn't think Kathreya deserved to be booed.

If it wasn't for her and her "fwiends" then BB9 would have had people like horrible Jennifer, Sylvia and Dale right to the end. D:

From memory, Rachel Rice. There were mostly cheers, don't get me wrong, but I don't think she deserved ANY boos. They were definitely bitter boos.

Same here, it's horrible I know they say it's panto etc, but the crowd don't really seem to cheer for anyone, it appears that they actually enjoy making people feel bad. I felt really sorry for Laura when she was crying over being up for eviction again, for all the bravado in the the diary room when she was giving the public the finger, she is actually terrified of facing the mob I know she was very naughty in the first week, but she's been a great HM ever since, IMO she doesn't deserve to be booed, none of them do, you are right, they are a stupid crowd!
