Ok, but then don't you see that the friends of the person that soldier murdered would feel they had to get revenge. If its ok for a soldier to murder one of their guys, they'll see it as ok to murder a soldier to get revenge. And that depressing cycle continues
Soldiers are part of an organization that kills people. Whether or not we think those killings are justified, we cant deny that killing people makes you enemies. Its like a more brutal version of the off duty policeman being shouted at in the street by someone he locked up.

They're called Airmen, not soldiers, in the RAF. Mainly because they are part of an air force. Might seem pedantic, but they dislike being called soldiers, just as a sailor would or a soldier being called an airman or sailor.

Well in every report I've seen it says airman. My son says the person was called an airman in their briefing. So I'm going for airman and not soldier.

Not true. Concealed carry is legal in NI, on the mainland, you can apply for a CC permit if your job or lifestyle means you may be at such risk you need to carry a firearm.
Just watched coverage of this on ITV news. Chief constable made a statement but both he and the reporter covering it pointedly never described the men.
