British soldiers are "our" boys so of course we hope that they win any fights, but surely we should also accept the reality that the enemy might attack our guys from time to time? Thething is though they target guys like yesterday to use for propaganda purposes. It doesn't mean only military personnel are targets. We are all (we as in anyone opposed to their values) targets.
Where Daesh have been targeted abroad isn't even their own countries half the time. They are an invading force over there as much as they would be here. And any serving personnel who are part of a force attacking them are doing so legitimately. Daesh are not a legitimate force and have not entered the areas they occupy legally. Or do you think that what they have done to people in Syria etc is fine and dandy?
