I just watched it again and nothing like that happened. The strap didn't do anything.
She even said 3 or 4 times that the sponge hit her throat, she never said anything about the strap on her helmet. Plus, the strap wasn't that tight, not enough to cut off her breathing.
I don't see why people are making excuses for her, she quite clearly faked it, it couldn't have been much clearer. I just thought it was funny, i'm glad she faked it
