My broadband went belly up a few days ago. I did all the usual checks before calling the (overseas) call centre early evening. We agreed quite quickly that it seemed to be a problem with the router. Two days later I received a new one in the post.
I'm very quick to post when something goes wrong so I thought the reverse should also apply. Well done BT!

Great news. I'm currently moving to BT infinity from Talktalk so this is nice to hear.

Loads people seem to be having BT outage this week though my infinity 2 and phone been great here and not any connection drop outs though some times do have to reset the router but this has not been for a good few months.

Had very slow broadband for a couple of days and then yesterday the phone line went dead.

Rang up at noon, engineer arrived at 1pm today and replaced wire alongside side of house and installed new junction box.

Result - my BB is now twice as fast

I have not had the outage that some people have had earlier in the week but I did have to reset my Home Hub 3 after the Wi-Fi on my IPad Min 4 and my sisters IPhone 6 seemed to freeze.
I had to phone BT back in March as I was having minor problems with my Infinity and after 3 phone calls and one call back from BT and 10 days of minor problems they finally sent out an Openreach guy who tested everything and replaced the white Openreach modem that I still use.
Last time was the worst I have found BT customer help service to be.
