Is anyone else bored of EastEnders, I am looking forward to Ross Kemp's return as Grant, but there is nothing exciting happening, boring storylines, dull characters. The show needs to bring back some familiar faces: Michelle Fowler for certain. Some stunts would be good and better storylines. The Donna story is rubbish, and there is nothing else really happening.

I'm loving dtc's agenda being pushed, I think it is important these things are brought to the nations attention. lets just hope they actually do it justice.

I think hollyoaks would have done the storyline better tho

Edited to remove a very wrong phrase sorry.

Nah, I think it's been great this week. Not really looking forward to Grant returning, the show should be moving forward and not back.

My advice would be to give it time, a break, or drop it completely

Its been far from boring. I've been feeling miserable all week because Paul died (even though it is fictional) and I'm appalled that such things can happen in 21st century England - at least today there was an element of hope with Jay and Johnny persuading Ben to get justice for Paul.

me too, Paul died , not looking forward to Grant return either, not a fan of shouty wooden planks

I think I probably used the wrong phrase

but I meant pushing the things that are important to dtc over and above everything else. Johnny's spiel made it less about dead paul and more about bringing attention to homophobic attacks. It was being done very subtley and very well till Johnnys spiel at Ben, Ben should do it for Paul and himself not anyone else. Plus why do we need to know that criminals guilty of homophobic attacks get harsher sentences, why dont rasvist attacks or just normal attacks carry the same sentence

but at the same time there is nothing wrong with doing that, they just maybe didn't need it to be pauls death, I would have preferred Birdie to be the killer.

I totally get what you mean now but I don't think attacks on gay men or women receive the attention they deserve

I think that Ben knows more though so there's something he's not saying.

have you noticed the camera keeps focusing on his knuckles. I think Ben threw the first punch, we all know what happens when he loses his temper

RIP Hev

It's not been good for a while, but I thought this week was OK. Can't say I'm looking forward to Grant's return, or Sharon's for that matter.

No, I have really enjoyed it this week. The Les and Pam scenes have been very heartfelt.

Corrie is on the up, whilst EastEnders seems to be declining I agree. Yeah, this week was good, but you can bet it will go back to the usual filler soon enough.

I wish Sean O'Connor would give some sort of interview. His episodes are already on screen!

It was mediocre. The whole plot was just completely random in my opinion. The shows direction is very concerning at the moment, it's asif it's just plodding along, with no plan, making up everything as it goes along. I couldn't really tell you what's coming up in the future, and what characters will be playing a big part, because it feels like the show has just gone to sleep.
