Hard to believe it, but it's been five years since the brilliant Amy Winehouse died.

One of my favourite singers, I thought she was amazing with a brilliant voice.

I was lucky enough to see her live twice - at Leeds Cockpit in 2004 and Leeds Wardrobe in 2006. Both fantastic gigs and great memories.

Think I'm gonna go stick Back to Black on a reminisce about this great singer

I think she is the best artist to of come out of the UK for a very long time. I was a big fan. I have all her albums and tons of her demos, live stuff and unreleased stuff all stored away. I really loved and appreciated her. I was so sad and devastated when she died, because there was something so rare and real about her. I honestly did shed a tear, which is daft because I didn't know her but that's how much her music made an impact on me.

RIP Amy
A true one off.

A very tragic waste of the life of probably the most talented and iconic artists we have produced in the U.K in a very long time.
Back To Black is a timeless classic album that will still be played and talked about in 10/20/30+ years.

What a coincidence as I found myself going through her music last night.
Really wish I could have seen her perform live.
Also must say the "Amy" film is amazing and one of the most powerful and tragic things I have watched.

I still miss Amy Winehouse, I was lucky enough to have seen her live with her Frank record. No other modern artist has topped both Frank & Back To Black for me personally. Both records I still enjoy on a regular basis, Love Is A Losing Game is my favorite pop song of all time.

She was incredible R.I.P. Amy and you just wish the people around her had looked after her better.

They tried their best. She was loved by many. Sometimes there is only so much you can do before you have to hope the person helps themselves.

I think fame was mostly to blame.. along with all that comes with it.. mostly bad things. And her personal struggles. She just wasn't made for fame. She was an too fragile. She told her bodyguard the weekend she died that she would give all the fame back if it meant she could walk down the street as a normal person. She just wanted to write songs and sing. I don't think she ever signed up for all the rest of it. She never craved the fame and the fortune. It just happened. And she got carried along. The ups.. and the downs. And it just took it's toll on her fragile body.

I get angry at the media mostly. The paps. The tabloids. The commentators. The people who mocked her struggles. She was a normal person. She could have been anyones Sister.

I love Amy Winehouse. Best British artist in years and probably the most influential.

The movie says it all.

She was really good but she has become so overrated since her death.

A true legend. Songs like Back to Black and Rehab still sound current to this day and Back to Black the album will still be talked about 10/20 years from now

It doesn't seem that long ago. She was a very unfortunate woman to go out the way she did, and so young as well. I still hope she was happy during her life as it was.

I wonder if her label will re-release a 10th anniversary edition in October.

Legend, yes, but her songs sounded far from current. More of a 60s throwback.

Who cares about "current". Her songs are superb, and superb songs stand the test of time.
Her delivery of them is also superb.
