Got criticised for using paddy power too much on the big brother thread so I thought I would mix it up with hills here. Feel free to use paddy instead!

Very similar odds!

Ed Balls favourite to be the first one to be voted off the show. Will the public keep him in for the novelty factor?

my money is on Danny Mac.

he always win as "Sexiest Male" in soap awards (voted by public). so surely got a lot of female fans out there. not sure with his dancing partner though.

Worth a punt at 8/1!

Will Young now joint favourite with Claudia, both at 7/2, way ahead of Louise Rednapp in third place at 6/1.

I put a bet on Claudia and Greg. If they can dance and reach the final, they will win imo. I can't see any of Will/Laura/Louise/Danny overtaking them in terms of popularity, and I can't think of any series where the winner wasn't an obvious contender from the offset.

Greg is 20/1, bookies don't rate his chances much of winning, why do you think he would be a good bet?

Purely in possible money making terms -

At the moment he is 20/1. We haven't seen him dance but looking at his lack of experience, personality and his own comments, it doesn't seem as though dancing will come naturally. 20/1 may be as low as he goes.

However:-

He's fairly young, fit, incredibly determined and will work like hell. He's also riding the wave of the olympics (probably more so than Claudia who is less well known and didn't win a medal) and seems to twang a few ovaries.

If (and it's a big if admittedly) he has some rhythm and at least a bit of latent ability, he has the potential for the dreaded j word. Combine that with young, fit, very popular male with plenty of goodwill behind him and he might be worth a fiver.

If either of his first couple of dances look vaguely decent, his odds will fall sharpish. Makes sense to someone wanting to take a punt to get some money on early before that happens.

The thing is I can imagine Greg being a Colin Jackson, but equally I can imagine him being a Iwan Thomas.

we'll see I guess.

I can also imagine him being somewhere between the two. However, I'll lay odds that if he's anything like Colin, he'll walk it and even if he's a Iwan, he'll last a few weeks. He's far more popular than Iwan was.

Bet placed! Thanks for the tip!

Don't forget, if you are having a bet, use code F20 when signing up to get £20 free bet. I think it's better to place a bet before the show starts as the odds will all decrease after tonight's show, especially if they give a good performance.

Anyone else having a flutter?

Thanks for the code, I might have a flutter on Tameka, good personality and can dance from what I have seen.

Woo hoo, I get £290 if Tameka wins, right all of you VOTE for her please.

I did a safer bet on Claudia but still got £10 left, will use that after I see them all dance and I know the odds will be lower but all good fun for the price of "£10.

Drinks all round if Tameka wins, will that convince you all to vote for her?
