Used to watch quite a bit of BBC3 but completely forgotten about it now and so has everybody else that used to talk about BBC3 stuff so only noticed Fleabag on tv.
Absolutely love it, right up there with Rovers, Count Arthur Strong and Detectorists.

Really hope they make more.

I now tend to relay heavily on the iPlayer and (like a lot of people) being able to seeing programs at a time that's better for me. I find so much of what I like is actually BBC3 without realising, like Cuckoo and Murder in Successville. I actually delay watch Fleabag so I can watch it with no distractions - I love so much.

I watched the last episode on iPlayer tonight. Dark wasn't it? Very good though and it's nice to see something that doesn't play safe and follow the usual formula.

yep, totally agree. I just watched it too, it was brilliant, I did not see the twist with Boo coming, but in the end it makes sense. Every episode has been a progression, getting darker and more serious, yet still with very funny moments, like guessing which 'sculpture' was of her Dad - "ooops!"

This show is sublime. I don't say that about many shows. The original Him & Her are the only thing I can think right now. It is wonderful.

After completing the final episode, I loved this series. Lovely writing, great acting and characters, and a great ride of ups and downs. So many deeply cutting jokes.

Very impressed with this group on a series which took me by surprise.

I never saw the twist with Boo coming! It makes it hard to feel sorry for Fleabag, but you end up feeling sorry for her somehow. Is she unhappy because she isn't a nice person or she isn't nice due to her unhappiness? Hard to tell.
Very compelling, and Olivia Colman gives good bitch, who knew?

This sums up my thoughts exactly, on this superb comedy, just finished the series.

I've just finished the last episode.

From the first two, I got some brilliant comedy and awkwardly funny scenes, the series then mellowed and there was some real character development of Fleabag and her relationships especially with Clare.

The twist with Boo was great, but only because how it was played out. Fleabag is a mess, and as long as she doesn't blame her godmother for everything, she should be fine.

Hugh Dennis was very good too, what a wonderful series this turned out to be. I really hope there is another series. I really liked the 'Cinemascope' filming and lack of music (until the end) feel too. It was brilliantly written and acted all round.

I have watched every episode from 1 to 6.

As a previous poster said it's very much like Siblings to an extent but very dark. There have been some awesome jokes but it got more and more serious towards the end. I sort of knew she had to something with Boos death when she saw her boyfriend in the shoe shop.

I was hoping for a happy ending for Flea but the last episode was quite upsetting. I know it's just a television programme but I really got into it.

I loved the Miranda like talking to the camera. And doesn't Phoebe look just like Nigella Lawson?

I've just finished it too and very much agree. Superb. Bearing in mind it was bbc3 it took me completely by surprise how deep and complex the characters and relationships were, especially as its all from the creative mind of one person. What a talent Pheobe (I cant remember the rest of her name!) is, to write and act that excellently.

Just caught up on the last episode and found it very profound. Here's a young woman riven with guilt over her friends suicide and it's only now we can see why. Very complex layering of characters showing they're not all one dimensional (except Arsehole Guy!). Although I did find myself shouting at the screen "just tell her no, you're not going to be "staff" for her with the bloody drinks!". I think her sister knew that Fleabag was telling the truth about her creepy husband, but didn't want to accept it, and wanted to play safe rather than taking risk of dumping husband and going to Finland. It seemed to fit Claire's character to a T as she's always played it safe probably as a way of coping after their mum died, and Fleabag instead went off the rails a bit. Olivia Coleman played passive aggressive so well, I found myself getting really wound up by her LOL!

I liked the way it ended, with a slither of hope for the future. Whilst in a way I'd like a second series as I found this so good, I'm also happy to accept that it would end there.

Very deep episode. Played on all the emotions too.

It got pretty dark towards the end and, although she wasn't the most likable of characters, I did end up feeling sorry for her as everybody seemed to turn their backs on her. Nice twist at the end though as sympathy and a helping hand came from an unlikely source.

Excellent series , just catching up with episode two

I think it is very funny, just catching it on bbc2 the last two weeks. Anal guy is much better looking and more interesting than Harry.

Surprisingly good. I've never been a BBC3 viewer because I didn't like the earlier output, but Fleabag is great. It's like a very degenerate version of Miranda. The swearing is completely relevant to the style.
