I thought it looked ok but they seem to have cut it to the extreme especially the fight scene!
Starts off a bit like Thor before heading into Captain America The Lasso looks weird as well in the trailer! |

The fact her lack of father is mentioned suggests the fact she hasn't realised Zeus was at it with her ma will become a plot point later on.

Wonder Woman says to Chris Pine that Zeus was her father in the trailer when he is asking her about the fact of no men on the island how could she be born!
So she knows that Zeus is her father from before she leaves the island! |

So she knows that Zeus is her father from before she leaves the island! The problem with doing a Wonder Woman origin story is DC have changed the origin several times in the last 30 years, leaving no definitive version. (I'm assuming they're going with the Brian Azzarello version as DC editor in chief Geoff Johns in involved with the films) |

Looks pretty good. I'm glad her outfit is a bit more colourful than it was in Batman Vs Superman. I hope this movie does well, and leads into more female hero movies in the future.

I really liked her in BvS. I'm pretty excited still to see this!
It looks like a Joss Whedon female empowered film - love it. |

I'm still laughing. Pretty obvious that that reviewer doesn't realise Carter is Hispanic, a fact she often mentioned during her days as Wonder Woman.

According to a review of BvS at Amazon UK, yes. Apparently, Gadot looks "too ethnic" and nothing like "the true American" Lynda Carter.

Zeus was mentioned, but could he be a mere story told to her by her mother? I don't know the ins and outs of the DCEU, but surely they're not actually going to throw the Greek Gods into the wider audience here? Are any of us suppose to believe that Zeus will actually show up at some point?

I thought it was ok. I didn't really like the beginning of the trailer as it felt rather like "the Little Mermaid" animated movie. Once it stepped away from that, it got better. I have higher hopes for this than Justice Leauge and I really liked wonder Woman in the Batman v Superman film. She was the best thing in it for me

Please take note Ghostbusters, this is how you do a female driven movie, rather than beating the audience over the head with the fact that the leads are female in an attempt to court controversy.
Movie looks genuinely great, looks like the one shining light in the cesspool that is the DCCU. |

The blue eyes are just a visual contrast. It's hardly a big deal though and anyone that truly upset is bonkers. |
