It's disheartening how so many on here feed directly into the BB driven narrative and don't think about what they're being shown - or why.

Hughie's rant after his argument with Natalie was arguably one of the best DR rants ever - never mind this series.

But do they show that in their line up of 'Best Diary Room Rants'? Nah, they show one that will cause an argument.

Yep I think it's fair to say that most folks will be aware of BB machinations by now. It's so tired, recycled and predictable.

Well, I think I was the only person on the hl thread to mention it. And no-one continued the conversation. It feeds into the polarisation of fms, so they just ignore such blatant and ridiculous manipulation.

How they didn't choose Jayne's 'are you on drugs?' rant I will never know.

Jayne other meltdown was way better that the one was nominated the are you on drugs one was AMAZING

From what I've seen, they don't include anything that happened in the 'other' house as happening in the BB house and so they haven't included any clips from there, or else they would surely have included Jayne's rant from there rather than one from the BB house.

No you weren't, I mentioned it too. Its irritatingly obvious and crass, left to themselves the hms would get along but that wouldn't suit BB I suppose.

Weren't they all using the same Diary Room, though? Best DR rants were clearly Hughie and Jayne's earlier rants... Didn't fit the narrative for this week, though.

No they had a different DR and they weren't considered to be housemates at that time but 'others'.

ETA: You may recall the DR chairs were different colour, as was the background.

They've never shown clips of the 'other' house in the main house.

They arnt going to show Natalie's because shes not there to row with Hughie.

Well that's true for all the DR clips they show at any time through the show, or any bit of house action they show to other housemates, or words they say - all designed purely to create arguments. C5 has been like this since it took BB on.

I'm not surprised they kept it to hm's still in the house.
They used Jayne's second best rant, not the one where she asked BB if he/she was on drugs.

I wish they had shown Andy calling them all self-obsessed whingers in the DR. It wasn't what you called a proper rant, but it's as close as Mr Smug is ever going to get.

Nonsense. The clips they used were specifically targeted to cause arguments. There were many more funny/hysterical DR clips they could have used. What they used couldn't even be described as 'rants'.

Take off your tinfoil hat and realize that it is what I said ... only people still in the house.
