That's interesting and confusing, where will Rick and the rest be at when we get back to them I wonder.

After the extremely slow pace of the last series I feel a bit dizzy now.
I think we may not see Rick and the team for a couple of weeks. I think next week focuses on Daryl and then the week after I reckon we may get a Tara-centric episode. given how much she featured in the pre-season trailers when they could only show characters that weren't in the Negan line-up.

I'm kinda thinking that in a basic survival scenario, having a pet tiger is going to be quite a drain on resources. How long will the pigs last with intensive hunting?

The most comical aspect of this episode for me is how many people are commenting/moaning about the Tiger being CGI. Seriously guys? Can you imagine the whirlwind by animal welfare activists if a real tiger (in chains) was used, not to mention the potential danger to cast and crew.

Loved this episode, especially the Kingdomers feeding the pigs Walker meat especially for Negin and his crew!
I do wonder whether they're doing that intentionally; to kill off Negan's group? Does eating an animal that has eaten walker flesh infect the living?

I completely agree with you about Shiva the tiger.

Regarding the meat question, remember when Bob TAINTED MEAT! was bitten and the Terminus group were eating part of him, nothing happened to them, so I'm not too sure.

Can I ask in the comic, who kills Negan? I'm hoping that when he is disposed of it will be Ezekiel and Jesus and Ricks group combined.
Loving JDM though, and I doubt he will be going anywhere anytime soon.

I kept saying "I'M TAINTED MEAT!!!" when I saw the piggies. My mum looked at me weird and I explained that it was because Bob said that to the Terminus folk

. I also think that the young protege of the king will probably get 'offed' soon and that will trigger the eventual willingness of the kingdom to get involved in ending the rule of the saviors.
I think that's going to happen too. It would surprise me if it didn't

Overall, I liked the change of pace for this episode. I couldn't help comment that it was a bit like Alexandria and Woodsborugh and even Carol commented on this.

I've just Googled, and it appears as though he's still alive ... for the moment

That's a shame. I want him back (at least for a short while) on Supernatural.

I don't think Sam and Dean's Dad will be making another appearance until the very last season or peisode

I really wish they hurry up and kill off Carol.

Such an annoyingly boring character.
Think we may not be seeing much of her for a while, she will be staying in her little country cottage only to ride back to the rescue when Rick messes up again in episode 6.

Ezekiel was very good. I loved the one to one scene with Carol, explaining why he is so cartoonish.
And it's worth pointing out that his interpretation of a post-apocalyptic society seems to be working out rather better for everyone living in it than Rick's.

Everyone's post-apocalyptic world seems to work better until Rick and his crew come charging in then it goes to shit.

Hilltop (are they still a thing) and The Kingdom will find out soon enough.

It does seem to be the common theme. Rick and the group come along, everything goes to hell in a hand basket.

Ezekiel made a good point that everyone just wants someone to follow and take orders from. In a way, that's what has been happening. Right now Negan is the top of the food chain, so to speak. Hilltop and the Kingdom are just following orders.

And just waiting for things to tilt in their favour.

That's because they work together as a team. In Rick's group they all still do their own thing at times. If Daryl hadn't rode off looking for Dwight on his own, the others wouldn't have followed. If Carol hadn't went off on her own Rick and Morgan would not have been put at risk going out looking for her.

If Rick hadn't gone on the offensive against Negan's group, without doing a bit of research to see just how big and powerful his group was, then it might not have ended just as bad as it has. If Daryl hadn't punched Negan, the Glenn would still be alive.

They just can't take a telling!

Great episode I thought

Loved Carol, such a great actress definitely one of my favourite characters

Morgan _ I still cant warm to him

Ezekial - Brilliant character! loved his and Carols interactions

So Basically Negan and Crew go from group to group threatening a group, then demanding something once a week so no one gets hurt?! Its clever but what as ass

The pigs eating the Zombies, did make me wonder if that was just to make them sick or worse??

I don't think the Kingdom will suffer the same fate that Rick and crew normally bring

Shiva looked great, I think some people just like to pull CGI to pieces

Much needed episode after last week's!!

I don't think anyone's criticised the use of cgi, just the quality of it. For a show whose strengths lie in their use of special effects, the Tiger wasn't that good. I found the chain really distracting whereas I never fail to be impressed by the Walker slayings.

Now, those were excellent this week. That one where the zombie got his head sliced in half? Pure quality.

I did think this at the time but I've just seen it somewhere else and it's reminded me - what are the chances that Benjamin's dad who got killed was actually the Kingdom's designated Lucille victim? He was a strong fighter, much like Abe was, and there was also that bit from Ezekiel about having to keep secrets.

Oh I thought this too, every place has a victim first as the warning and it must have happened offsite

Seemingly so, I presume the usual mid-season break in December.

You know, I never thought of that at all. That would be interesting

I was wondering about this.could they catch something or turn in to walkers from eating it over time
I was wondering that too... is it an attempt to infect the 'saviours' or just a nasty surprise for them when they open up their hog roast?

I suppose they could get ill from eating the 'tainted meat' which might poison some of them, then those who die would reanimate (as happens to anyone who dies, other than with a head wound).

Remember in the prison, Rick and the Gang had pigs and they either became ill or they infected a sort of swine flu to those living at the prison. Wonder if those pigs came into contact with walkers?

I didn't think the tiger cgi was that bad to be honest.
