Which place was that? I've read all the comics but can't for the life of me remember a place full of women.
I was just assuming
a quick wiki search proves me wrong.
in fact the community is much smaller in the comics
oops

Jesus wept.

I get you can't have all action episodes every week. I really do. And I know I don't always enjoy the slower episodes, and that some people do.

But I take back everything I said about last week, it was edge of the seat stuff compared to this drivel.

It was so slow, no, so uninteresting it felt like an episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
------
I used to really look forward to this show every week, couldn't wait to see it. But to me its nosedived this series, first episode aside.

Of course it'll get back to what I consider good, and no doubt others will complain then Guess they cant please all of the people all of the time...

Think I may be one of a select few but I actually enjoyed this Tara ep.I thought it was nice for Tara to have her own stand alone episode to build up her character more. An interesting introduction of Oceanside and not really filler to me. At first I thought it was going to be terrible, but I think Tara's quirkiness made it work. So many of the characters are cold and stoic, it's refreshing to see Negan and his larger than life sense of humor and Tara's awkward goofiness.
Yes totally agree, Tara is actually quite a good character

I liked the episode as a whole, no filler as far as I'm concerned

Zzzzzzz that's what that episode was about.

I'm going to skip it now until the last episode of the season - I'll just catch up with what's not happening here an don IMDb.

It's a bit like the first series of Star Trek, every week a new Utopian community that conceals a Dark Secret. "What is this thing called kissing, Captain?"

Good girl Tara. So do we think Heath is dead?
That depends on how well 24: Legacy in which Corey Hawkins plays the lead role does

it felt like an episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
whoa, harsh. :P

It was boring as hell, but I didn't want the entire cast to die horribly by the end of the episode.

Yeah the whole nice looking society harbouring a terrible secret is a staple sci-fi thing. Bit like our own reality really

It's like this season is being produced by the Fear the Walking Dead crew.

Usually there's two or three episodes per season where I say that 'no other show can kill momentum like The Walking Dead'. This season is 6 episodes through and they haven't even built any up.

Ridiculous.

I'm enjoying the episodes but getting confused to the time lines and such, hoping that it will all make sense at some great point in the season.

Are you sure you are talking about TWD and not another show?

The timeline stuff was last season.

Oh dear. There weren't any men in this show, to speak of. So therefore, it's boring.
Just a wee hand grenade, there

I watched at first thinking what the bloody hell had I tuned into. Didn't like the introduction of a new settlement but then when we learned that The Saviours had killed all their men and why then the episode suddenly became more interesting.

I expect the introduction of so many different groups of survivors is likely at be Negan's downfall as I assume the reason for doing this is to bring all the groups together at some point to attack The Saviours and kill Negan.

I don't get the negativity it wasn't that bad. I thought the women were all feminist lesbians at first who hate men

I didn't understand that episode one bit. Has this zombie world made all men impotent? Negan's gang of single men attack a commune and wipe out all the men, then they say, bye-bye ladies, keep all your weapons and we promise we won't look while you run away and hide.

Surely Negan would have rounded those women up as playthings for his men to enjoy?

Sorry for bringing reality into the story, but that's how the real world is.

It's possible he did, more used their society so that his men could come and go as they please, and that's why they up and left?

For 1 minute, i thought she was going to say all the men were killed 1 night while in an outpost, and Tara was going to realise that was who they killed.

Had this been the case, it would have saved an otherwise boring episode!

That would have been a much better storyline. I like it.

I thought that too, was thinking, "Jeez Tara, blab much?"

Well, I actually enjoyed this episode but I get why others didn't. Thought the sand zombies were different and cool, Tara being all "Tara" was fun and we learned more about the brutality of the Saviours. I also liked that Tara didn't tell Rosita about this new community. Rosita is clearly asking for trouble picking a fight she can't win. She just needs to be patient, pretty sure the enevitable bloodbath battle will happen at some point.

The producers are nuts doing all these slow episodes in a row, although many don't mind it they are not catering to the people that want more progression. Half the viewing audience will go. Pretty dangerous if you ask me, the figures could tank if it carries on like this. They need a killer episode soon....
