No, his usual crew had followed him, remember when Rosita, Eugene and Spencer got back all Negan's vans were there waiting.

Negan's group had the upper hand because Rick didn't know how big they were at the time they got caught. Now they know who they are dealing with and how they "work" the area,”

Well, in the epsiode when Denise died, our group was a terrible shot too. It was after Denise got the arrow,.
Daryl, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita didn't hit anyone, even though they had big weapons.

Have we, can't recall.

He seemed rather surprised to see the gate if that was the case. Given that Aaron never found the Kingdom or Hilltop in his scouting I'd have been more surprised if he had found this place prior to this visit.

I did wonder if the guy up the tree that Spencer found was the guy who put up the signs but I doubt it as that would mean that two scavenging teams were searching the same area which seems a bit pointless.

Plus we saw Gabriel decide to walk home from where Spencer found the guy yet Rick and Aaron thought it best to sleep in their truck suggesting they are somewhat further afield.

Saying that I was half expecting Spencer to spot Rick and Aaron and decide to take a shot at Rick with his new crossbow.

"I wish I could love, or hate, Negan. As it stands, however, I just want him to go away."

I agree with almost everything this reviewer has said. If the showrunners have plans for Negan to survive into Season 8, I hope they have a rethink.

I'm bored with Negan. He's just too much of a one trick pony, and yes, I would like him to go away.

You must have forgotten the interminable search for Sophia in Season 2?

8 episodes of tedium (apart from the Otis episode) until Rick finally stopped navel gazing, found his balls and killed those 2 guys in the bar. Sound familiar?

I liked this episode but probably more so than the rest of this season I was wanting more

It was great we got to finally see several storylines playing out but they had pockets full of info which made me want to know even more. Some of the chatter was so quiet I had the tv up loud and still couldn't make out what was being said re the blond and the guy who got his face burned. (I assumed that was her bf and she cheated on Negan with him?)

Re Negan yes he is annoying, mean, nasty but the overwhelming feeling is shut the hell up, he does go on and on and on and on

I think what's missing is the understanding of how he got to be top dog, why does he have so much power, how can he make people kneel before him he is one character I think we need to see before, during and after the apocalypse

Do you have a subtitles button on your remote? You can use that.

And the issue was that she had somehow smuggled a hammer to her boyfriend, so there's another murder plot foiled. Although what he needed it for when he was surrounded by random bits of metal and a furnace I do not know.

Can't recall anything about a hammer

Mark was on Redirect Duty (presumably funnelling Walkers away from the Powerstation but could be something else) and left it so he could spend time with Amber. Him being away from his post caused something of a mess that needed clearing up (presumably lots of Walkers in a place they didn't want them).

Aaagh, we had the build up of Carl wanting to kill Negan, and an hour or so of Negan trying to decide whether or not to kill Carl (spoiler alert: he won't ). Can't one of them just kill the other one already and stop all the grand-standing ?! Stop talking about it; either do it or drop it.

What was the deal with Michonne's trap? What made her so sure someone would come along soon, and that they would be a Saviour? Are we to assume that she just assumed it was one of their routes because they dumped the mattresses there, and that someone would be along sooner or later, or was there more to it than that?

I do like the idea that there's at least three people (Michonne, Tara & Carl) each on their own personal revenge mission, each one presumably un-aware of the other two having the same idea.

I think he will have good reason to if they're gonna do what I think they're gonna do and the last scene of this weeks episode tells us there's a damn good chance they're gonna do it. A lot of tears next week I think.

the funniest part about reading these posts, apart from the ones who say one week theyre not gonna watch anymore but then still do, is the ones who dont pay any attention.

I've really enjoyed all the episodes so far.

Can't believe it's the mid season finale next week, I seem to spend half my life waiting for the show to start again these days! It would surprise me if we see the demise of either Rosita or Michonne last week

It also seemed weird Daryl is billed on the Talking Dead next week but another cast member is being kept as a surprise

Yes, it would be good to know who was Negan before and how he became who he was.

However, I thought last night was an excellent episode and Father Gabriel was profoundly brilliant.

The writers did a background story on Negan in the comics Just read that they will show it on TWD. I always think people think they are much braver than they actually are. I have witnessed violence and once at school. The head was shocked no one intervened. It wasn't cowardice on my part but shock: I was frozen to the spot. It is almost like Negan is asking for someone to kill him. He certainly gives them enough opportunities. He likes anyone that shows a little bit of aggression towards him because he hates yes men.

id like negan and his gang to go away for good as well. i like the kingdom and hilltop plus alexandria and there are enough rogue baddies they could have from time to time.
instead of negan and the saviours they could have had some action in a city...

I wonder how Jeffrey DM thought of his scene with the baby on his lap.
Talking like that, up close to an innocent baby, who does not know that it is not real, must be difficult.

Yes, he is an actor, but he is also a human being.
