Yet she was the one who told Daryl he'd be better off returning to his cell last time he got out. Also, it seems to me she's actually fairly happy where she is. She's become leader and spokesperson for the other wives, telling Negan "What we talk about when you're not here is none of your business" and deciding that one of them should be turned in for canoodling with her boyfriend. I know she first became a wife in order to get her husband's sentence punisement, but now she seems to have fallen out of love with him. I suspect if Dwight got killed by a zombie or something, she'd carry on being a wife anyway. She wouldn't rock the boat by talking to Dwight , so I doubt she'd go out of her way to help Daryl, either. If she wanted to kill Negan, she could use the approach Carol told Andrea to use, and do it after sex.

Wasn't it a lock-pick rather than a key? The reason I thought it was Jesus is that we saw him on the van roof, and then we saw him gone. Daryl also saw him on the roof, so it makes some sense if he went to save Daryl.
As for how Jesus got deep into the compound, I think he's just cool. Before worrying about the details you should worry about how he hid on the roof of the van next to a well-guarded, multi-storey building without anyone looking down and noticing him.
