Anyone else got anxiety due to TWD I'm gonna be alone watching it and I'm not sure I can take it.

Brilliant that Fox UK are showing this live in just over 10mins. Can't wait!

Does anyone know if they are just doing it for this very first episode or for all episodes in season 7?

Spoiler
just monitored twitter and everything the spoiling dead website predicted was true.
was interested to read twitter comments and a few think the show has gone too far. I am always conflicted about this show. I enjoy the characters and it is bases on a comic where you can do anything. Translating it to real life actors especially with the horrors in the contemporary world. Is it just gratuitous for ratings and satisfying something unsavoury in the human psyche?

Intense.

That was unexpected (to me anyway).

Some of the dream sequences were very weird, I thought they'd decided to have a do-over at one point, with a whole new cast.

Really wasn't expecting to be so brutal.

Really intense. Had read spoilers but wasn't prepared for just how brutal it'd be either.

I knew what happened in the comics so one of the deaths wasn't a surprise, but i didn't know what else was going to happen. Time to take a breath

Still, i'm not watching it now until next april when i can binge it all in one go ..

Well that was horrible. Thank god it's half term and I don't have to pretend to be human at work tomorrow.

Brutal, brutal episode! Negan is a f*cking nasty piece of work!

Anyone get the impression that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was enjoying himself just too much in that episode? With regards to the violence i think it had to be extreme which justifies the existence of Negan and who he is.

It's aired in the US AND UK so don't start moaning about spoilers but Abraham and Glen!!!!

Abraham i had an inkling about but the Glen one hurt. He's been there from the beginning. Personally i thought it was going to be Daryll. When Carl came into it I thought oh no, not another one how much more can we take but luckily he survived. That scene with Carl and Rick was one of the most intense scenes ever!

Great opening episode. My only nitpick is how long it took for us to find out who it was. Extremely annoying! I thought we were gonna be shown it in the opening minutes.

I actually quite liked the slow build up to the reveal. I think it helped raise the tension even more.

But I do agree - Jeffrey Dean Morgan looked like he was having the time of his life

Either that or he's an extremely good actor!

Well I think that as well - I'm sure I read that he was only cast as Negan literally a few days before they had to shoot the Season 6 finale, so to find that level in only a few days is pretty amazing.

As hard as it was to watch, I guess it was necessary to establish how far Negan is willing to go to control the group. I will miss the characters who were slaughtered but everyone would have been pissed off if they had killed insignificant characters.

People are moaning about the gore and brutality on twitter but erm.. have they not been watching for the last 6 seasons? It's always been gory as shit.

I do think it's one of the best episodes they've done, I was on the edge of my seat throughout. I cant wait for someone to kill Negan, that alone will keep me watching.

Sadly I have a feeling we will lose some more of the cast before the season's over.

Meh, humans being crap to humans. Just what I want to see in a zombie show.

Still at least it isn't as bad as Fear. Yet

humans have always been bad to humans in this show since at least Season 3. Remember The Governor? Have you only just started watching?

They have to pay for murdering Negan's men, still not feeling much sympathy for them, they went from survivors to murderers.

This series should be about redemption, them working their way back into our favour.

Yes I agree, I would like some retribution for what happened, but definitely redemption. Rick got a bit too big for his boots last season, so lets see what happens now.

I get that, I wasn't having a go or anything I was just curious as to why you think this now, but it's been happening since S3.
