I wasn't a much of a fan of Alex previously, but after tonight I've REALLY gone off him. Horrible man.

He is not a nice person, heartless and just cold.
who, me?

Maybe then he could have been a little more authentic when cosying up to her every night in bed?!? Or telling Jackson he'd 'go through her like Eurostar'?

It's not so much that he's malicious, but there doesn't appear to be any empathy there. There's just nothing about him.

He should have been charged with being a waste of a housemate within the court room task. It should have not been Evelyn in the dock. I don't think I have witnessed on BB a bloke that is void of any emotion towards another human being. The way he allowed Evelyn to apologise and continued to sit there stony face was beyond weird. Even Channel5's commentator at the end of programme had to say 'well that was awkward'.

The only time he shows any emotion is when someone is playing him a compliment. He has done absolutely nothing during his time within the house. The guy is a mumbling creep.

This is very much it for me. Alex is not a bad person. Evelyn herself said he did not lead her on...neither did he reject her. He just did/said/showed nothing. There was no intent to hurt Evelyn, because there seems to be little thought process. Why BB thought Alex would make a good HM is beyond me. He has a great body, with an average face and dodgy smile. He is completely introverted and closed. He exhibits no personality, no feelings, no wit, no negative traits like temper. I know no more about Alex today than I did on launch night.

I think Evelyn said that because a) she's a lovely girl who was humiliated and paranoid and unsure about whether Alex is considered the good guy out here, and b) she still wants him to approve of her.

Because the fact is, he DID give mixed signals. You don't pick up a girl and carry her around while asking others "is she a keeper?" (twice he asked that). You don't share a bed with them. You don't cuddle them. You don't stay silent when others are teasing you about your relationship.

What you do is either have a quiet word or you pull away. There are ways to send clear signals. He did neither because he was getting something out of it...I don't know what...airtime, attention from a beautiful girl, someone to keep on the backburner as an option outside, a quiet life because he feared unpleasantness if he DID come clean.

We've all got the bird's eye view so it's easier to see signs he wasn't interested, but Evelyn was immersed in it. Even Jackson said last night that Alex must like her. He certainly had me fooled.

You're right. Both Jackson and Laura tried to convince her Alex did like her, so they must have seen something we didn't. I still don't know if it was contrived on his part, as he doesn't seem able to possess any thought process.

I think Jackson and Laura were just doing it to encourage Ev - after all, she is a stunning girl and she seems fairly likeable. It seemed to be more of a "why wouldn't he like you" than them actually thinking Alex liked her back.

Either way, I've seen more personality and emotion in a blank of wood than I have in Alex.

I hope he's has been evicted, he doesn't deserve any interview time. He's a f***ing creepy gimp.

He only started to cosy up to Evelyn when the public deemed him the most forgettable housemate.

he is a strange guy its not like he is shy or anything. but seems lost, he seems a decent enough guy though so......

my theory is this
either
1. he is trying to get over something bad that has happened to him which is making him depressed and lost inside himself
2, he is just suffering from depression
3, he is vain and dont care about nothing or nobody
4. he is just not like normal people and very thick
or 5. he is suffering from a broken heart still lurves someone else and is struggling

i think its 1 or 5 with a touch of 3 and 4 myself,

Usually, when I'm around people I don't fancy, I don't let them into my bed each night for cuddles ... nor do I let them kiss me.

He did!
Wondered why it took me so long to appreciate anything about Evelyn which I did last night but hey you put people off her by assassinating everyone's character because they dare not behave in exactly the way you think she deserves !
It rubs me up the wrong way and if you want her fan base to increase welcome people on here who have their own favourites but who JUST MIGHT vote for Evelyn if their own is voted out.
Nobody but Nobody deserves last night's eviction .I honestly thought it was very likely to be Evelyn and Sam and I would feel exactly the same whoever it was.
If it is Sam and Alex let him be .
If it had been Evelyn the bookies odds would have been fulfilled but you wouldn't hear anything but sympathy from me whoever it is.
I don't believe one other fan base would do anything but I feel for her.
😃😃😃 please don't put people off her again like the Queen Evelyn thread.

Alex has given Jason, Andy and Sam more romantic attention than he has Evelyn.

When did he? Not saying he didn't, I've just clearly missed it.

I think I heard something about his having lost his mother - if that's recent, then one can understand his being very quiet. And then there was that strange whispered conversation in the bedroom with Laytisha, where she mouthed 'baby?' at him. So maybe more is going on behind the scenes than we know about. After all, when Charlie left, there was something about her having had some bad news whilst in the house, and it was never mentioned.

Curious really, if he had spoken up about what he was going through regards his mother, he may have a bit more support. From his letter from home, I got the impression that it happened in the past before he went into the house.

What's wrong with being an introvert? I prefer them to extroverts.

And Alex has lost his temper before. He's shouted at Hughie when they were arguing about alcohol.

could be that then. he isn't a introvert like others suggest so something is on his mind
he still should of gave her a hug though. if he knows the value of life and death he should know to make a effort if someone is suffering too
strange guy either way i guess
