I didn't say there was anything wrong with being an introvert. I also prefer more introverted HMs to extroverts like Ryan. But I like them to slowly reveal their complexities and personality. I like to see their hidden depths. Andy is more introvert than extrovert, but we have witnessed his wit, intelligence, frustrations, happiness, upset and more. We have seen nothing of Alex.

Was it so difficult for him to nip it in the bud early on by saying "I like you but not in that way'?

The way he handled the Georgina thing was disgusting. He should be apologising to Evelyn for the way he did nothing to turn her down kindly and the things he's said behind her back on national TV. Pig.

Was he leading her on? She seemed to be pushy in wanting to start something for a story. I don't get the blame he gets from you, maybe it's just to enhance Evelyn. He's boring in BB and quiet but otherwise I don't think he's got the passive aggressive smarminess of Sam. It was clear enough that he wasn't interested in any serious way, and Evelyn is quite immature anyway with the talk of sitting on his face. Laura gets brushed off as immature to try and enhance Evelyn I think.

I think it was pretty obvious really, if you do something like that too directly you might worry you'll be more disliked.

Why? Surely if he was direct to her - she said many, many times, if she was barking up the wrong tree, she'd accept it, and her behaviour in the house to most of the set backs she had was to shrug her shoulders and get on with it, which suggests to me she was telling the truth - if he was honest about it, she wouldn't have made a big deal, and he just might have stayed in. It's the absolute messing her around that's clearly cost him.

"She's a keeper" he says. He led her on a bit but I'm not rendering Evelyn blameless. Far from it. I find her self obsessed and obnoxious enough not to read the blatant signs. I also feel her "awkward" persona to be affected and disingenuous.

But she's decent looking so I don't blame Alex for not blanking her out of hand. I think he realised that she didn't have the character that he wanted and that a bit of How's yer father was going to go against him.

She had the vision of the beautiful, perfect couple, no consideration for chemistry, and I feel that Alex eventually came to the realisation that he just couldn't fake that. So he led her on a bit acting as if he was up for coupling up, but he came to the conclusion that it was unsustainable.

At the end of the day I actually respect him for not continuing the charade that she was just as complicit in.

What's wrong with saying you want to sit on his face? She's just being honest...

Man I must be watching a different show.. I thought she stopped the sleeping together.. He would have been perfectly fine to let that continue.

To be fair, he probably would have. A single dude ain't really gonna willingly turn it away. A really nice guy would have turned it away without prompting but there's very few really nice altruistic guys left. At least not ones with penises.

Even Channel5's commentator at the end of programme had to say 'well that was awkward'.

The only time he shows any emotion is when someone is playing him a compliment. He has done absolutely nothing during his time within the house. The guy is a mumbling creep.”

Spot on!

It's not the real world anyway, you are locked in their with people and you can get some companionship or storyline. It's not about whether something is sustainable outside really, that's a totally different thing. Their main concern in the house is what people watching will think.
