Off you go, Alex. Flush!”

Totally agree, so pleased to see him go and take Sam with him, they should have gone weeks ago!

Yeah, this doesn't make any sense at all. Maybe it really is the Evelyn stuff...she's very popular and likeable. Maybe hes so invisible that he could never have got through a vote to save. Maybe there are some male voters who - like female voters are routinely accused of - have a touch of the green eyed monster with a great looking male.

But Jackson???

That was quite astonishing, wasn't it? Mind you, I think I saw the scales fall away from Ev's eyes there. She was saying 'no problem' but here eyes were saying 'get over yourself you self-centred git'. At least, I hope they were.

He might have been nice and supportive to 'his boys'; I'm sure he was. But he also made some deeply unpleasant comments about the women in there *.

* disclaimer - I know this because I read them on here. I have not understood two syllables the boy has said while he's in there. He's completely incomprehensible.

I could believe he was a rock for some in there . But rocks are dull . They just sit there doing nothing when all's said and done . I think he took the "rock" analogy too literally . You can be supportive AND let us know you are still breathing FGS Alex .

I can't hold it in any longer ----------the way he held his ciggies drove me nuts . The wee men who hang around outside our local homeless hostel clutching bottles of booze hold their ciggies like that .

Until his "counselling" of Evelyn I always thought Alex was just a bit thick - but watching him tonight he revealed an incredibly smug and self satisfied side, that was embarrassing to watch.

I hated the way he treated Ev, but you get the impression from the way everyone liked him, that there was far more we weren't shown.

I thought (or hoped?) the same. I don't think she apologised last night because she meant it....I think she was still trying to win him over, and to extract a confession from him, anything from him, about how he felt. Something like "but I DO like you" or 'its not YOU who should be apologising". She tested him and he failed, and today it was written all over her face.

Yes, I wondered this too. His comments about the girls suggested 'lad'. That one about going through Evelyn like the Eurotunnel was a big red flag. Came out of nowhere and seemed so at odds with this image the HMs had cultivated in our eyes.

completely agree. never been a fan of sam but he took his exit very well. alex just confirmed to me, yet again, his (deluded) high self-regard.

We may have ... it's possible they've shown it and we just didn't understand a word Alex said

The "girls vote" is still in play. Ash made it to the final, Sam won a couple of years ago, and that TOWIE guy just won CBB.

This. I also felt sorry for Sam

Some people think that they are so fantastic looks-wise, they can just pose, check reflection out, and wait for the prize.

I personally think Alex is not 'universally' attractive compared to the likes of David Gandy, , Andres Velencoso, and Jon Kortajarena for instance.

Actually, when the boyfriends entered the house, particularly Bernardo, Alex's ego was severely dented, and it showed.

The public didn't think he was 'a keeper'.

I think Sam handled it quite well though.

If Alex just did something in the house, he would have won by a mile but the fact that he just laid there saying nothing but "it's ok" went against him.

Alex is the sort of person who agrees with everything. It looks like he's being polite and pleasant but, really, he's just too dense to form an opinion all by himself.

"Yes, Andy, you're absolutely right. The colour blue is absolutely horrific, mate. Always hated it."

"Yes, Jackson, you're absolutely right. The colour blue is absolutely fantastic, mate. It's always been my favourite colour."

Good looking lad though, I'll give him that.

Because being nice and supportive isn't want BB want to show us.

It would not have mattered if he was shown as supportive/argumentative - or anything.... coz, I could not understand a single word that came out of his mouth !!!

I think the "lads' lads" conversation taking the mick out of Evelyn (bit rich coming from Jackson, who really was Georgina's poodle) sealed Alex's fate and I hope goes towards sealing Jackson's, too.

I don't think he's a particularly 'bad' person in any way and he's easy on the eye which is always a plus but... it was a bit like watching two pieces of furniture; Sam and him. Total waste of space HMs.

At least Alex didn't just lie back and think of England with Evelyn, for the showmance attention, though. Which he easily could have.

Oddly, I suspected he fancied the thick, bullying, out of shape Lateysha far more than the much prettier Evelyn. Some men are weird.
