We never truly get to know the housemates when the show is so heavily edited. I'm sure Alex was a nice bloke to live with, but we don't see the nice stuff - we see the drama and fireworks.

I really think if Alex didn't anything even remotely interesting BB would have shown it. I think BB would have loved to "promote" Alex but there was nothing to "promote."

If we had 24/7 live feed I am sure we would have totally different views on all the housemates. Since we haven't, we have to go by the edits and him and Sam were the dullards of the series.

They had to use subtitles most of the time he spoke because he couldn't be understood.

I honestly believe that he lost out because if they had shown more footage of him, viewers would have demanded subtitles and they couldn't find anyone who could oblige because NO ONE understood a blessed word he said

If he had carried on his showmance with Evelyn and was not seen to have behaved like a total git when talking to Jackson about her, then he may have slipped into the final.

True. I could never make head or tail of what he was saying. He came off as one dimensional and kind of vacant. just wondering where the moments were that made him so liked inside the house.

Personally, I liked Alex I thought he was a nice, caring, loyal guy and I was very surprised he got evicted. Also It seemed he was a sympathetic friend towards everyone even people in the house he wasn't close to that's why everyone in the house loved him. Tbh big brother only shows the drama and confrontion because they wanna make headlines, so I definitely think Alex got robbed.

I'd like to know how they select the HMs. Alex wasn't part of the former couples set up, so why was he chosen? Surely he wasn't the only pretty boy that applied or auditioned or whatever it is they have to do.

Some people just need to hear the rumbling murmuring of "you're right mate, yeah, yeah, yeah, don't worry pal" and end up feeling very supported. Alex was good at that.
