He will. I'll eat my hat, my husband's hat and my dog's hat if he doesn't.

Even with my noble attempts to push Cheetah and her mobile back over the border.

Starting to think Andy might very well win.

He'll overtake Hughie in the betting odds before the Final.

With all this new info, I am convinced he will not win now.

Twitter have found out about the whole Tellymix thing and now are panic voting.

These aren't actual paid phone votes from Ireland. Tellymix must be able to see where the votes in their poll are coming from. I vote in Tellymix polls from the USA.

The Tellymix online poll is clearly getting lots of action from Ireland and it isn't a large leap to assume all the online polls are seeing action from Ireland.

The reason I think this information might be interesting is three-fold.

First, the overall impression everywhere is that Hughie will win, this is based on the bookies and the online polls. The bookies odds are based on actual bets placed. The people placing bets are trying to win money and will bet on who they think is going to win and people look at online polls when they try to determine who may win. These polls effect betting.

Second, if people think there is a real horse-race and Hughie as the winner is not a forgone conclusion, they would be much more likely to vote.

Third, People in Ireland can not cast actual paid votes on landlines or Irish mobile phones. It is not easy for Irish fans to vote.

I'd be more than happy with that but I really can't see anyone but Hughie getting this. Which is fine. He's not so bad but would prefer an Andy win. I think. God, I'm still so up and down with them.

I've never got to a final and not been 100% sure on my favourite before.

Would love Evelyn to get it but it's never going to happen.

Because of Northern Irish or other Irish in the UK? I see no other reason why he would be a favourite to win at all.

If people are panic voting surely that'll make him more likely to win, no?

Well there are a lot of Irish who are pleading to get behind Hughie because of this new info as they can't vote.

Depends if those who can vote and support him actually do vote.

I thought he was very popular generally speaking, even without the Irish / NI support.

He's popular with UK voters on Twitter is he not? I'm not on there but I got the impression he's the runaway favourite there and across all the polls. He may not have the Irish vote but I still reckon he'll get it.

This thread is making me optimistic though. I hate a forgone conclusion. Would be great going in to a final where it could be any body's ('cept Jackson's).

I remember wanting Hughie to win at the very start.

I am so pleased Jayne, Jason + Andy are still there, & certainly wouldn't have minded Hughie winning had he not joined forces with the bitter ones😣

I still find it hard to believe that this will largely affect his support. All the polls, betting, the screaming of the people outside the house when his name is called out for eviction and the number to dial for vote for him and practically the majority of the BOTS audience has his support on most nights.

Sorry I am still convinced hes going to win.

Bulk of the liscence fee goes to RTE the state broadcaster. Not eligible to enter the competitions either.

Scarlett, I reckon your boy def has a chance! I'm seeing a lot of love on social media for the Top 3.... a lot for Jason!

I for one will be doing cartwheels around the place if 5 of the 6 of them win. I've never been so excited for a final in ages because normally I have 1 fave, this time, I have 5!!

Actually Salv, I hear you. It's been so long since I've been invested in who wins.

Darling, I'm telling you, and listen to your Auntie Scarlett...your boy Hughie has it in the bag. I'm not a betting woman, but if I was he'd be my dead cert.

TV3 still earns money off their viewers. If people like me didn't tune in to watch, they wouldn't be able to sell advertising space so we should be allowed to take part in the vote. I don't care about the crappy competitions.

That's what we all thought with Tiffany isn't it? I don't trust odds and polls much

OK Auntie Scarlett, apologies

I don't either.
Odds and Polls. It's the phone voting that's counts.

Fez. She dressed as Dr Who at Halloween.

She didn't approve. She made a start eating the hat herself. She was rather fond of her little dickie though.

Actually I think the competition for a gorgeous holiday is fabulous.

Isn't it Ibiza though? I met a Spanish guy who was originally from Ibiza once and he hated tourists, said they'd ruined his island. Kinda put me off going to the place.

Ibiza is incredible... OK, it's not exactly a relaxing one. I went 2 years back for a "lads holiday". It really is an amazing place. And oddly enough, it was so safe. No brawls, no problems, very friendly people (both the locals and the Brits travelling to holiday). Then you come back here and you see people getting in fights at pubs on a Thursday afternoon!
