Now a lot of people seem to criticise Hughie over his association with Ryan. So why does Jayne get no flack for supporting Charlie to the hilt? The way she screamed and bounded up to her in the court task was nauseating.

I agree. I like Jayne but she has excused Charlie's behaviour and even when Charlie was in the house, Jayne was very much on Charlie's side throughout the whole Charlie/Jason saga

I honestly fail to see how people can choose someone's side on a relationship that took place on the outside. If i had been in that house, i would never get involved in something that is none of my business.
