Yeah he can be annoying and cringe but it's seems every post irrespective of the subject matter, someone has a dig or declares anyone but him should win. Don't love him but think he's harmless in general, so confused by the hate

Jackson is far from malicious, but reading some of the posts on this forum you'd think he's the devil.

I totally get why people don't like him or are suspicious of him, he does seem calculated and everything is cheese overload. However, I think he's harmless like you say.

He's got a lot of growing up to do - the tantrums will not get him far in life, but then again it's Big Brother and emotions are highly exaggerated. Underneath it all, he's a nice guy and people in there seem to like him (maybe bar Evelyn) which says a lot to me.

Yeah seems a bit disproportionate IMO

I don't hate Jackson but I do dislike him.

I actually find him to be the most manipulative HM, sly and scheming.

Oh, and I'm fed up of hearing his "I want to be accepted". It's wearing a bit thin now.

I don't think there's much 'hate' on here for Jackson; more 'oh my God, he's ridiculous'. Which he is, to be fair.

definitely this for me, he's absolutely embarrassing to watch

Nearly everything he says or does is for the cameras; his entire act is so contrived - the whole 'feeling accepted' rubbish is a prime example, not to mention his BS about the prize money the other week which had no element of truth to it and was once again for the benefit of the viewers, but I'm glad he got called out on it. I'm not sure who the real Jackson is because he seems to be playing a persona... he's not even subtle about it, it's just so transparent. I don't know how some people are falling for it.

I'll admit he's not coming across as malicious or a horrible person though, and I certainly don't hate him as a *person*, I just can't stand him as a *housemate*. Complete irritant who is playing the audience for mugs.

At least IMO.

I don't know why he whines on about being accepted. It's not as if he has a very strong, immutable personality like, for instance, Andy, Jason and Hughie.

Jackson has many faces and I don't know which one he wants to be accepted. The intelligent guy who can keep up in a conversation with Andy? The Nottingham gangsta ? The vulnerable stuttering little boy? The Romeo to Georgina's Juliet?

His ridiculousness aside, he's sly, manipulative and disingenuous. He takes me for a mug and I don't like chancers.

I would prefer anyone wins over him. He's the only one that requires a mute button the moment he gets started.

Agreed. He just talks nonsense for the sake of it, tries all the 'street' stuff which is mortally cringeworthy, and for someone portraying himself as having sound morals, his actions and explanation of his actions are all over the shop. He also tried it on with two other girls before Georgina, and now proposes to her. Imbecile.

I'm never bothered by nice vs. nasty HMs but I am bothered by irritating HMs and Jackson is one of the most irritating things ever on BB. In the past week all episodes of BB that I've watched have been at least 10 minutes shorter because I literally skip through everything that involves him speaking. Being an irritant is far worse than being horrible. When they were watching the slide show and he AGAIN said "that's my misses"... I briefly considered medication & vodka.

I can not stand him, mainly because he put on an act... There was time he was himself most of the time he wannabe gangsta... Simply as that..

Everything looks contrived, IE the walking around naked at the start of last nights HL

Agreed on all points.

How people can't see this is unbelievable.

Was so happy when he got voted 'Bitchiest Housemate' AND guilty of Contradicting Himself

I absolutely loathe the guy. Everything about him is contrived, from his tearless emotional outbursts to his gangsta swagger. He is an empty vessel.
And that laugh, man. Jesus.
I've never been so utterly repelled by anyone in big brother before. I can barely look at the screen when he's on.

I can understand why he's still in there, with most of the voters being young girls, they'll find his 13-year old boy immaturity endearing and of course he's easy on the eye which always helps.

The audience who are being so called played as you put it are probably not interested in what he has done/said it is other reasons probably such as him trying to get on with other hms instead of being negative and looking for trouble like most of the other hms.

This. He makes a huge play of wanting to be a responsible father and yet sees nothing wrong with - as a grown-up man - going into gangsta persona and talking to a dummy in a glass box. The whole man-child thing makes me want to smack his legs for him.

Quite right. It's not hate, much more frustration at a young man who persists in making himself very hard to like with all his nonsense (the flipping accents every few minutes) and the constant, irritating claim that he is searching for 'acceptance.'

This. I can't categorically say 'hes not a bad person' when I think he's a fraud and manipulative. Because when someone is that inauthentic, I don't know what to believe. He may be a complete shit behind all those faces. Narcissists usually are. Georgina will no doubt tell us via OK soon.

I was the same with that big phoney Danielle in BB15... it's a pet peeve.

This. I find Jackson seeking "acceptance" highly manipulative, in one breath this is all he wants, but you have to balance that to when he tells us how attractive and successful he is with women and ashamedly talks about his career as a model You have to have a good memory Jackson if you want to keep the public on board.

More or less anything more I have to say has been covered upthread. I will add he does not seem to have the courage of his convictions, when actually called out by Evelyn and Jason he crumbled, telling Evelyn to "shut up" and apologising to Jason for nominating him. To steal a phrase: Jason does not like it up him.

Not only would I prefer any other HM to win over him, I'd rather the zebra did too!

I had to hit 'mute' when he was doing that cringe nonsense in front of Zoltan last night, it was mortifying!!

It was so obvious last night that a 10 year old could of worked out what he was up too.
Though they shouldn't be watching BB that late at night.

In the list of the slyest, most conniving, duplicitous characters who've appeared on the show...he's up there near the top of the (very long) list .... people instinctively respond to genuine honesty in a positive way....and the reverse of that is a genuine fake like him will automatically turn people off....to compound his behaviour , one of his traits / mantras is stating he's 'just being me' and being 'true to myself' ...which is so far from reality as to be laughable....that's why he's so disliked...

last night's show encapsulated his fork-tongued antics....almost every single thing he did / said in it was completely for effect .....there's a real person in there somewhere...but we definitely haven't seen it during the duration of this show
